  1. I do, because the Liberty City vibe is great. Those projects, narrow alleys, rain, brown leaves, noisy subways... I feel that the atmosphere in IV is better than in V, probably because the V is too perfect. But the crashes... Lord.

  3. But sometimes they do, for no reason. I stopped a guy (he was jaywalking in a middle of the desert), took his ID and went to my cruiser. He began walking again, I tried to stop him by holding 'E', but his dog ate me :(
  4. Another update? Damn it, Albo, do you even sleep? With the performance like this, you're one of the most hard-working modders here for the V. Your name will be on the wall right next to Abraxas :D
  5. Great! That's the change I've been longing to for quite some time. And neatly done, too.
  6. I like code3 callouts, there are things like "assault", where you have to question both sides and a witness, a hit-and-run call, an "Unknown Trouble", my favorite one since you can find essentially anything, from nothing to a dead body (and call a detective) to mountain lion
  7. What about making it multi-livery too, BTW?
  8. Mm, got to try it. Thanks for the tip. a new avatar again?!
  9. Nah, what he's talking about is an unrelated issue (as far as I understand). I don't have Keep Calm, and experienced the same. At one moment the perp is doing like a hundred, and when he suddenly slows down and follows traffic. It's just I consider this pretty realistic, because if a perp sees a car in front of him he might slow down to figure out where to go, and if he sees all the lanes occupied or if he approaches a junction, he will slow down for sure. You can even see this on Youtube pursuit videos.
  10. Hello! I've a quick question that wasn't answered by Google: when I play as an LSPD officer and press "Shift" during traffic stops and pursuits, there's no verbal warning to a suspect. Meanwhile SAHP troopers and LSSD deputies have speech lines. Is there any fix for this? I didn't modify LSPD ped model, in case that matters. Thanks in advance.

  12. Drug Runners call is hilarious. I only wish they would drive older vehicles too, like we did in GTA IV, doing drug runs for Jacob. And it would underline the importance of evidence collection, in my opinion, if there is a chance for the perp to be acquitted if no drug evidence are collected. Sometimes courts do that, when perps just fail to stop and run.
  13. I love how pro-gun activists and anti-gun activists refuse to cooperate with each other. For the former the ultimate solution is to arm everyone with a gun, including children, disabled and old people, effectively turning the country into a war zone, where the best shooter survives (and even he might be killed with a lucky shot, here's the Wild West reality for you), because "if someone needs a gun, he/she will get it". In my opinion for a 15-y.o. school student with no criminal record obtaining a weapon from the black market and not getting caught immediately is, well, problematic at best, but who am I to judge. For the latter a weapon is an ultimate evil which, apparently, possesses its own will and is capable of killing on its own discretion, here's why all the guns must be banned. Why would you need it for self-defense, if there's police? If everything else fails, at least they can nicely chalk up your body. [all above-stated is sarcastic and isn't aimed at any of the forum members] I mean seriously, weapons are dangerous (like cars are (surprise!) or electricity or petrol), and they need control, too. America has gun ownership, that's cool. But the owners have to understand their responsibility. Sandy Hook shooter took the weapons from his mother, for instance. So own a gun, but keep it from an unauthorized access. And if you can't, don't own it.
  14. Especially if the vehicle in question is registered to a demented old lady in the suburbs and is driven by her nephew/grandson/mobster, getting the plate isn't that useful. That may not be a common problem in the States, though. In my country that's one of the reasons why cops use drive-by shooting to stop a driver who refused to pull over :D

  16. BTW, maybe you know who exactly those agents are who carry badges like this one? Are they American federal LEOs?
  17. Is that a "describe your PD" topic? Well, in my country cops are corrupt everywhere. It keeps the Anti-Government Crimes ivestigators occupied, and this is good.
  18. Back in the days of IV modding I was asking myself the similar question, opening the Downloads section and staring at endless CVPIs and Chargers. That's why 5 years ago, when I began looking for modded cars, I chose modified default vehicles lol.
  19. Was peacefully sitting on the highway shoulder doing radar next to a gas station while I noticed a girl who was marked by a white blip. She entered the station, and... Pulled the gun put and apparently tried to rob the owner. Ambient events are cool, no shit. It's just... Why always women?

  21. The badge is neatly done, pleasure to look at. Although roleplaying as an Interpol employee isn't much fun: all you can do is advise national LEOs :D
