Considering what Illusionary posted about how many of those shooting have already occurred this year, I'd say this isn't a problem which can be solved by changing gun laws, positioning SWAT teams in schools lobbies, and arming teachers with shotguns. There has got to be a reason why Americans - young Americans - grab a gun and go killing others.

As far as I am concerned, LSPDFR is about the everyday life of a beat cop. Other than that, I didn't really understand what number of police cars do you mean: either the number of cars that patrol an area, or the available units to select at a station?

The man serves from 1989 to 2013, rejoins to provide help on civil issues, and gets killed over literally nothing. What the fuck. I wish that Smith could spend next 25+ years in prison constantly thinking what he had done.

I sorta think that this is an overkill. You know, in courts they ask for lil things called "evidence" if you try to accuse a person and all before they issue a sentence. Here the guy was going to become a cop, a judge, and an executioner. In Russia we would charge him immediately alongside with the thieves. People do have the right to protect themselves and their property, but I believe the "don't steal" rule is balanced by the "don't kill" rule. You house is being invaded, you are threatened with a weapon, you fear for your life? Reach for your gun. Your tires are being stolen, your neighbor is dumping trash on your lawn, a kid is pissing on your wall? Get the cops.

For me two pursuits at one call usually happen when there's two occupants in one vehicle and they get out and run. At some occasions my backup prefers to follow me instead of pursuing the other, but usually they do the job.

But ain't int better in a long term view to get rid of the problem in their homeland, so people would return to their homes or at least those who still didn't immigrate would remain there? Many of the things going on there now are Western countries fault (don't call me a liberal but that's how it is), so reinstating order back there is what better be done. My country has immigration problem too, only in our case it's Eastern Ukrainians who run from the war. Sorry to say that they don't find much help here. While everything you said is correct, I wonder how you can ask them out after "the events" are over.
