  2. Me and a few friends are using a California pack as well, including LAPD, CHP and LASD. The reason is simple: we like them a lot. I don't just think that their cars look great, but I also believe that they are pretty much the best police department there is.
  3. If you only want 1 forward going gear you'll have to write "1" into the number of gears parameter in the handling line. You'll also need to play with the velocity parameter which controls the gear ratios, in this case even the top speed in this gear. You'll get pretty much the same top speed as you write in this case. So if you write 150 the car will have an approximately 150 Km/h top speed. Also by changing to 1 forward gear the car will slow down considerably, so you'll need to play with the acceleration parameter as well. 1777.0 0.33 85 0.0 0.1 -0.33 0.0 1 0.127 1.0 260 0.52 0.67 0.7 33.0 1.5 0.95 14.0 0.11 0.47 3.0 2.0 2.0 0.1 -0.07 -0.005 0.5 2.0 1.0 2.2 1.5 0.0 25000 440010 0 0 I do like your idea so far, however the sound itself is kind of bad as of this moment. That's pretty much because gta iv vehicle sound modding is really far from perfect. Actually you always get a different sound then what you used.
  4. Nice job again Sam. Which one's gonna be next, CHP SAHP officers?
  5. Very nice job again Sam! What's next? CHP SAHP officers?
  6. That less overtake mod is a bit buggy for me. Sometimes they do stop behind me, sometimes they don't. Also sometimes they hit me first and then stop and when I'm doing a u-turn they always get stuck behind me, and I have to end up either crashing into them if I want to make it out of there, or slowly manouvering out of there. Plus if I get out of the car, they immediately start to overtake me.
  7. Unfortunately that doesn't work in MP, and you also have to press a button for it. I think it'd be nicer if it was automatic.
  8. I've just had an idea, that I think would be pretty nice. Whenever you have your lights and siren on in an emergency vehicle, the traffic should never try to overtake you, even when you exit the car. The mod policehelper has the police barrier and various cones that can stop traffic by placing an invisible bike with an invisible driver with no collision on the barrier or the cone. This way the traffic always stops, and doesn't try to get by the barriers (or run into it). I think this same thing could be applied to emergency vehicles. Whenever you get out of the car, an invisible bike with a driver should be placed about 10 meters behind your emergency vehicle, this way you won't get hit when you try to do a felony stop, after a police chase. Anyone with scripting experience fancy doing it?
  9. Alright that sounds good. When I contacted EVI on lcpdfr he always told me, I have to contact him on skype. I have no idea what's his skype, maybe it's on his profile though.
  10. If you're having glare problems (, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 bugs but a glare ain't one), I think I can help you. When you are talking about glare, you mean that the officers clothes are shining like crazy right? If that's your problem, all you have to do is make the specular maps more dark. I personally like to use all black specular map textures for peds, since I don't see why some1's clothes would be reflecting anything. And about the LSPD cops, I meant more like an update for their clothes, faces and overall look. For example the beta LSPD cops you released have like a dark spot near where the SAHP officer has a patch, and their arms collide a bit with the t-shirt and other stuff like that. ps.: sorry for the first part, couldn't resist lol
  11. Nevermind I've found out it was "EmissiveMuliplier=1.0" value in enbseries.ini
  12. Any update on your LSPD cops evan?
  13. Well on original cars it may look better, however you only get that effect on lightsemissive materials (so only textures that light up) and with car mods it usually makes it worse, since the texture for the car mod has already been optimized to look like the real one. Also another question would be, I found a parameter back then, that increased the intensity of the "lit up textures", however now I can't seem to find it. Anyone know which parameter would be that?
  14. Well on the picture you can see that the headlight has this distorted chromeish texture on it. If you compare it with the lower lights (I dunno maybe they are supposed to be fog lights, they look different. What I want is to get rid of that distorted texture effect. That is what the enb dev calls vehicle light refraction. Here you can see the uranus' original headlights: '> When you enable ENB, the lights automatically turn to like on the first picture.
  15. Anyone know how to disable the stupid car/vehicle light refraction in ENB? It messes up an otherwise perfectly looking texture, and also makes the lights less intense. I figured if you turn off shadows, the effect disappears. Since I don't want to turn off my shadows, is there any other way to get rid of it? If anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, here's a picture of it: '> This is what I want to get rid of.
  16. Sorry for the unusually long wait, but the Insignia handling is now released on the front page. Also in case anyone is interested, I've released a handling for corleone's GMC Savana, and also his Ford Mustang GT police. The Savana was made by chasez, so some of you eagle eye users might have seen that I've already made a handling for that, however it needed an update. They are on the front page as well.
  17. I'm one for the GTA V faces as well. They seem a lot more detailed. Even if it means that there won't be no facial expressions. Having an animated hand would be nice for the gun holding though.
  18. I think you have to set a waypoint on the map (like you'd set your gps). I'd love to have a felony stop mode as well, where you don't have to walk up to the car's window, but order him out at gunpoint. Maybe if you draw your gun, the traffic stop should turn into a felony stop, not sure if that's possible though.
  19. I forgot to mention, that I don't think you are using the emerglights_emis texture, because when I tried to change the red lights to a bit more orangish red, they didn't change, they stayed 255,0,0 red, which looks hideous.
  20. Wheels are too big, rims are too big compared to the tyre, emergency light set up is not like the real one's, normal light setup is not like that real one (middle parts of the headlight should only be used for wig-wags, it's not on at night; missing amber lights from the top), the ferrara's front is round not squarish, and I believe there are a few tiny paintjob inaccuracies. Other then these I quite like it. wheels: '> lightpattern:
