  1. Commandlines should always be made for the computer specs you have. I think there's a tutorial on how to use the commandlines on gtaforums.com. I don't have a link to the specific thread though. This is what I use: -memrestrict 629145600 -restrictApp 0
  2. You mean 1 for backup that is not used by the game, and the one that is used by the game? Or do you mean 2 working gta iv? Well actually none of these can cause that. I have EFLC and GTA IV installed as seperate games, and I also have backup of the original vehicles.img and I have no texture bug. (I do use commandlines)
  3. Texture loss actually can only be caused by pc performance. To be precise, because of the game's memory leak or because of huge texture files (try to instal a weapon mod that's .wtd is bigger then 10 Mbs and you'll instantly get it) and in some cases, because of the server is full of spammed objects / vehicles. But I guess this was kind of offtopic.
  4. We're using an LAPD, CHP and LASD pack in EFLC with my friends, and we even changed the police bike into an LASD Crown Victoria. Neither did my friends or I experienced texture bug because of the cars we use, so if you're interested, you should take a look at my cars in the DL section. They were all based on their real counterparts, including lightbar patterns.

  6. Pretty sure there isn't. I know him, well I have him as friends on steam, and played a few times with him. People said he removed the Durango, so that others won't steal it. I mean why else would you remove all of your dev stuff?
  7. I'm using ZModeler 2.2.4 (Build 983), however I recommend using the latest, since according to smokey a lot of bugs have been fixed there (2.2.6 I think)
  8. Good news, no bad news... well both. While the file is ready, and I even uploaded it, it wasn't approved because the car was left unlocked. Since BxBugs123 was nice enough to decide his development parts, are not development parts anymore, I can only upload the .wft as locked. I guess I'll just lock the car then, and reupload it.

  11. Well all I wanted to do is recolor the traffic lights a bit.   13. I've updated my cars a long time ago. They all have the antennas, and they have that line thing from the front doors removed just like the real one. I do believe there were some other updates to them as well, but I can't remember. @Kevin499 That's not the video I saw and not the same car either. This one doesn't look quite accurate either. I've seen a video which had exactly the same looking rear lighting equipment as BErad's 2nd picture. EDIT: Well good news for you BErad I decided to make the car on the second picture. I can't say anything about release date though.
  14. Oh well I don't have any of those skills so I guess I won't be modding the .exe files. I didn't even know it was possible to reverse engineer an .exe like that. Also I was using the word sprite for what you are using as coronas. At least in the Half Life series they were called sprites, I thought they were called like that in general.
  15. Yeah I did manage to change the light on the ground by modifying visualsettings.dat. However I don't really know how to change the actual light itself. Also on your picture I only see the enviroment or ambient light (the light on the ground) and the light sprite being changed. However I can't even see any color for the traffic light itself. Your's look all blacked out. Where would I go about changing the actual lights (those circles in front of the traffic light bulbs or whatever)? You said they are in a switch, which I assume would be switch case (I'm just starting to understand a bit of programming in c++). Which file has that, and how would I open it?
  16. So I've been wanting to change the little emissive light textures that you see on the traffic lights (talking about the little circle parts). Is there any way to change the texture on those? I've checked they are not in the .wtd of the traffic lights, so it must be somewhere else. It's not in visualsettings.dat either, because that changes the enviroment light of the traffic light ( what you see on the ground etc. ) So anyone know where those are?
  17. I didn't use sarcasm, I really did see a video of an either WIP or private CHP Slicktop. Not sure if it had antennas, but it definately had the same rear advisors. It also featured the code 3 park mode (all lights at front on steady burns) Ofcourse if the author is okay with my version he can use it, but I do believe he wants that specific rear light setup seen on the pic.
  18. Alright well sorry for double post, but I found the answer as it seems. I tried removing the rear doors along with the windows, the rear small little windows (misc_a and misc_b) but nothing seemed to work. So I started suspecting it's not those. And I was right, the problem was chassis [col]. It had a few zero id parts in zmod, so after I used a chassis [col] from an original gta iv car, the crashing stopped. So there you go, if you experience any crashes like that, try checking all your collisions, and make sure there are no id 0 in them. Best to use vanilla cols, and trying to edit those.

  20. For the wig-wag problem it seems you aren't using lightsemissive material that's why they don't light up, however they do show up. For the squishy suspension; did you export the car with the same name as the wft dummy's name? So if the wft dummy is police.wft you have to export it as police.wft. I'm not too sure this causes the weird suspension though. Have you moved the car down in zmodeler to get a better camera?
  21. Alright so this one is driving me mad. My NYPD Impala has a bug that if it's back side windows ( misc_a and/or misc_b and/or window_lr and/or window_rr ) get shot my game crashes immediately. I've tested it out with another guy in MP, it's definately one of those parts I mentioned or all of them. The weirdest thing is, I can shoot the hell out of the car in SP, or I can get shot any time by the AI in SP, the game will never crash. However in MP, if some1 else's ped or another player shoots the car in those windows game crashes. Anyone had any experiences like that and has anyone found a solution for that? If you feel like you want to crash, you can test it out with my car, or even with Smokey8808's Ferrari California since it has it too (unfortunately even some other cars, but that 1 definately has it). EDIT: I forgot to mention that all cols have the correct id, they are placed correctly, and as you can see it works in SP perfectly. (misc_a and misc_b has id 136 since it's not attached, and the side windows have 135) I even tried attaching the misc_a and misc_b glasses to the window_rr and window_lr, however that didn't solve the problem. EDIT2: Removed all rear side window cols, still crashing...
  22. I've seen one for gta on YT that looked like the car on the 2nd picture (first one is halogen, second one is led), however if I remember well the guy said it was either WIP or private. You might wanna try searching there.
