  1. If police3, 4, and B aren't in your game by default (using GTA4 and not the addons or EFLC), LCPDFR won't give them database support (not sure if the bike does even then). While using a bike in the slot doesn't seem to work correctly with the siren, a non-bike vehicle will. That I know for sure.
  2. So far nothing around has done the ALM-style vehicle model changing. It would be a very nice thing to have, though. The only change that can be made is different vehicles spawning as the patrol vehicles, by changing the first two listed in cargrp. I've heard of no other change that can be made.
  3. I've been substantially tweaking and playing with a version of the LA Mod for quite a while. I've never played online, since I like to tweak things in every mod more to my liking, and that doesn't allow multiplayer. I'd probably use the normal version of Harbor City if I were to play, though I don't have a mic for voice chatting or anything.
  4. I actually meant that shooting through them doesn't manage to injure passenger or driver. I'll double check when I boot up GTA4 again.
  5. Using the lack of a RDR PC version is not a wise argument. Rockstar San Diego has developed only one PC game (Midnight Club 2 in 2003), and when they were Angel Studios they published two PC games (Midtown Madness 1 and 2 in 1999 and 2000, respectively). So a studio that's done only three PC games, and not one since 2003, shouldn't be expected to release many more, no matter the demand. Rockstar North, however, hasn't had a game without a PC release (with a few exceptions).
  6. Look great! The new rear lights and the mapped plate are very appreciated. Looking forward to having the Vector version available.
  7. At the moment, the selection methods and the use of the database are somewhat hardcoded based on what GTA4 you're using. Play with base and the mod only recognizes Police, Police2, PolPatriot, Noose, NStockade, PStockade, and FBI. Using EFLC will should add the other three. There is no current way to add new vehicles to either functions, but it may change in the future, though I've not seen any plans regarding that.
  8. The scripts folder is the location it needs to be in. Are you using the latest version of Scripthook? Setting looks fine, though you might actually be using an old version of either the mod or the INI, since the latest version uses numbers for the "response" value from 0 to 1 being a 0% to 100% chance. You can enter "TsbDbgOn" into the console, and then "ForceSpawn HWP1". That way it will guarantee that vehicle is chosen, and if it doesn't spawn then something is wrong. I noticed that some peds I tried to make spawn made the vehicle immediately disappear, but Cop isn't one of those. Here's my setting. I have my 3, 4, and B set up as Noose vehicles, set to spawn rarely, but they still work. [POLICE3] Active = true Vehicle = POLICE3 Ped = M_Y_SWAT Hats = 1 Response = 0 NumPeds = 2 Chances = 1
  9. Traffic Spawner has always worked for me, and I believe there's no other way out there to get it to spawn like that.
  10. And of course the one thing to take away from this reversal is that they took anything good out of the XB1 design, e.g. the on-demand access to your library and the as-of-then undefined sharing of access to select others. So the original plan was to offer you some delicious candy in one hand and punch you with the other. You don't like being punched in the face? OK, I'll stop, but I'm taking the candy with me, instead of figuring out a way to maybe just poke you in the shoulder while giving you the candy still.
  11. Tutorial for mapping here.
  12. I believe the save game corruption is the issue. I had it once, and it disappeared when I started a new game.
  13. I'd say just go with PH for ID checking; I use it exclusively.
  14. The Loot commented on Chamimnya's gallery image in GTA IV Galleries
  15. Hopefully a new graphics card will keep me set for both IV and V, if I ever get around to buying a new PSU and new card.
  16. CP702 changed some in his mod, so he knows.
  17. ELS.Net does not use the Extras system, so it will not have the car refresh "feature" that causes immortal vehicles and the repeating door animation.
  18. That bug actually sounds like it'd be fun to watch. Now if we could get it so it can be used on foot with appropriate speech, that be good, but if we could make it always prevent the peds from abandoning their vehicles in response to gunshots, that'd be awesome (but probably not practical to do).
  19. Currently you can only take two by yourself. Calling a transport unit must be done individually.
  20. I wonder if it would be possible to make the script activate when the AI also does that speech. It'd be nice to see the AI react to AI cops in some fashion.
  21. I've noticed that the texture pop-ins are much quicker, and I don't think I've had it start to completely lose textures as has happened before, so it's had an effect on my system.
  22. Some days I still want to strangle the ass who came up with the idea of in-game content as special or pre-order bonuses, and even more so the ass who came up with the idea of retailer-specific content, in-game and out.
