  1. PNGs, however, are lossless which means larger filesize, plus add in the fact that they won't compress and you've got a long download time ahead if you're still on 256KBPS connections.
  2. Why not put photos in a RARfile? Easy: Pictures don't compress well. In testing this myself, I put three separate images in three separate RARfiles and all 3 had the same filesize as the images they contained (within a tolerance of 1 kilobyte) - Note: Tested 2 .PNG files and 1 .JPG file.
  3. ...I feel sorry for them then, they've seen some shit that they can't unsee.
  4. Heard about these a few months ago. It's really nothing new, but it's still surprising how many people don't know that the government is tracking your every moves. I mean these days it's pretty hard to escape surveillance. Cellphone pings, Intersection traffic-detection (as in to tell if there's a car waiting at the intersection) cameras, hidden microphones, browser tracking... I'd be surprised if the government WASN'T tracking us, to be honest. Sarcastic humour: If you don't want to be tracked at all by the government, go to Antarctica and make sure you don't have anything capable of receiving a GPS signal on you. There's no real cellphone towers there, nor Internet, so you should be good. Also, tinfoil hats go shiny-side down. Off-topic: It's also surprising how many people don't know that social media companies (e.g. Google, Twitter, etc.) collect information about your browsing habits to sell to the highest bidder. Seriously... have you read the privacy policies? You really should one of these days.
  5. Short answer: Don't set it to shine through the spotlights. Long answer: Coronas are visible through thin materials due to a "feature" of the engine. That's how they did the standard lightbar on the default NOOSE Patriot and the NOOSE Crown Vic - they placed the siren glass in the centre of the lightbar and allowed it to shine through. You'd be better off putting the takedown coronas either where the car's highbeam sockets would be (unrelated: don't make the common mistake of setting the highbeam socket as the headlight) and having it run that way. If you don't know what I mean by coronas being visible through thin materials, check out
  6. That can be easily fixed by editing the textures.

  8. Go for a timecyc. ENBs are way more demanding.
  9. It's typically caused by ENBs from what I've seen. However, for all intents and purposes if it crashes when you tell it to exit, it's still doing its job by exiting, even if it is popping an error. MMA10 is one of the very few that you can ignore.
  10. Grand Theft Auto IV: Australia sorry not sorry
  11. There's a command in the ASI loader that you can use to do that, or you can use SNT to do so. I do no tknow the command off the top of my head, though. Edit: How it is done is stated in the ALM config. // - To restrict a certain livery to a certain area of Liberty City, // - you can define area-specific, model-specific livery rules, // - of which an example is shown below: > [AREA_NAME] > POLICE=0,1,2 > POLICE2=3,4,5 > AMBULANCE=4 // - This example will force police cars of model 'POLICE' to spawn with EITHER livery 1, 2 or 3. // - This example will force police cars of model 'POLICE2' to spawn with EITHER livery 4, 5 or 6. // - This example will force the ambulance of model 'AMBULANCE' to spawn with ONLY livery 5.First things first, enable the vehicle you want under the VEHICLES subsection, as demonstrated below. Bear in mind this is my configuration file. // ----------------- // VEHICLES // ----------------- [FBI] Enabled=True [NOOSE] Enabled=True [NSTOCKADE] Enabled=True [POLICE] Enabled=True [POLICE2] Enabled=True [POLPATRIOT] Enabled=True WHAT THIS MEANS:The following cars will be able to have area-specific liveries: FBI, NOOSE, NSTOCKADE, POLICE, POLICE2, POLPATRIOT. Now let's look at the first area in the INI file. // ----------------- // ALDERNEY // ----------------- [ACTER] FBI=0 NOOSE=0 NSTOCKADE=1 POLICE=0,3 POLICE2=0,3 POLPATRIOT=0,3In this example of mine, in the ACTER section of Alderney, FBI and NOOSE will be restricted to using *_sign_1, NSTOCKADE will be restricted to using *_sign_2, and POLICE, POLICE2 and POLPAT will be restricted to using *_sign_1 and *_sign_4. NOTE: Subtract 1 from the *_sign number. For example, if the car mod I install I want to use the livery defined by cvpi_sign_3, I'd set the restriction to 2 in the ALM INI file. Import them into the desired WFT using your archive manager of choice. For vehicles and textures, I recommend OpenIV. I don't understand what's intended here.
  12. The patterns range 0-5 as Chevy said, though you cannot switch them in-game. >I've posted a thread with more information on it here.
  13. Почему я использую Гоогле переводить для этого? In all seriousness, though, I had to lie about reading the TOU since I couldn't read it, haha.
  14. For low-end PCs I'd recommend a timecyc mod rather than an ENB.
