  1. It's streamlined to Hell and back, that's for sure. Edit: The WalMart truck's cab extends too close to the fifth wheel; it's gonna jackknife bad if the drivers aren't careful.
  2. I know Foward did a Tahoe with a valor.
  3. Message to moderation staff in spoiler. Click here to start a new thread on the appropriate forum. Edit: s/Luxauto/Luxart Edit 2: Should probably specify that in the first box you're supposed to press them at the same time.
  4. This is hardly my place to say this (it's more the moderators', and this paragraph is going to toe the line with backseat moderation heavily) however you'd be better off posting a new thread, as it's considered impolite (at least in most of the other communities I've been to) to post an unrelated support request in someone else's thread. As to your issue, >try this.
  5. If you make mods, they probably got it off the PayPal email section. I haven't gotten any, but I'm not really worried if I do - disposable emails. I've got at least one for most sites - on those that allow legitimate alternative accounts, usually two in case I lose a login or am on a public computer. Plus, if you'll look at the top line of the email body (most information redacted for privacy concerns) That's all I have to do to block it. Edit: Yes, I'm more than well aware that I didn't redact my disposable addresses, again, not too worried about them being public. Worst case scenario, spambot gets one and I easily block it.
  6. Set the pattern IDs for the different light stages to what you want them to be. Example: [ SECL ] Type = drct DisableAtLstg3 = off ForcePatForLstg = on PatId_Lstg1 = 7 PatId_Lstg2 = 7 PatId_Lstg3 = 7
  7. ForceDfltPat and DfltPatID work only with the primary lights. You'll have to force the patterns on the other two for each lighting stage.
  8. Went mountain-climbing again today. Got the sudden urge to do it, didn't have my Rebel, was too far from a road... did it anyway. And then I shoved it in reverse. Yes, that IS the back bumper, door, and front quarter-panel on the ground next to the car.
  9. My GTA4 game is crashing on startup - it gets to "LOADING ∙∙∙∙∙ STORY COMPLETE", flashes it a few times, then crashes. I've spent 2½ hours last night attempting to fix it (and I had a temporary fix going for about 10 minutes today before THAT failed after rear-ending a Futo) and about 2½ more fixing it today before giving up. ELS is to blame, as always. So far, I've done the following (in order) Modified siren (GTA4 started crashing shortly afterwards)Restarted GTA4Removed all scriptsRemoved ELS7 (fixed crash)Added back in all scriptsRemoved all modified vehicles and weaponsReverted ELS7 settings to defaultReinstalled ELS7Deleted EVERYTHING in the config sans controls (Fixed the crash)Restored interface settingsRestored env lighting settingsRestored misc settings (Crashes resumed)Deleted last 6 lines of misc settings (fixed the crash)Restored the first 3 of those deleted six linesRestored the other 3 deleted lines (crashes resumed)Deleted ClearAiExtrasDist from misc settings (crashes stopped)That was my temporary fix. It worked fine until GTA4 crashed in LCPDFR while I was chasing a Futo after getting the drunk driver callout. Here's what I've tried today: Removed ELS (crashes stopped)Restored ELS (crashes resumed)Deleted ClearAiExtrasDistDeleted ClearRandAiExtras (crashes stopped)Disabled VCFsRemoved GTAPolicingTools (It was installed shortly before the crashes)Restored RESIDENT.RPF from backup (crashes stopped)Installed different HORNS.IVAUD from >the same mod I'd recently installed. (Crashes resumed)Changed the HORNS.IVAUD to the one I had previously installedTurned off Ai_Els_Sp in ELS config (Crashes stopped)Looked through VCFs for anything that should not be thereTurned on Ai_Els_Sp (crashes resumed)Turned off ALL VCFsTurned off ClearRandAiExtras (crashes stopped)Turned on ClearRandAiExtras and set ClearAiExtrasDist to 1 (crashes resumed)Restored all game files from backupSo here's what I'm asking: Is there something in ELS7 I'm missing, OR is there an external script that would deactivate the random extras from the police vehicles? (I remember hearing something about the latter but it might have been while I was asleep this morning)GTA4 1.0.7.0 / ELS7 RT30508 / LCPDFR 1.0B Now I see why Ineseri hates ELS. EDIT - Had a derp, someone mind merging this with the ELSv7 Fix Centre?
  10. Windows 7 build 7601. Full systeminfo output in spoiler.
  11. One of the advantages of living in Texas.1. Kids over 13 are allowed at some firing ranges here with a parent accompanying 2. Fairly lax gun laws (background check, concealed licenses etc are still here) 3. Open carry of long-barrel firearms (barrel over 18 inches if I recall correct) is legal
  12. Get a 20-gauge shotgun, load it with 000 buckshot and take it down to a firing range. That's what we did with my old piece of shit router, pardon mon Français, s'il vouz plait.
  13. I'm having a minor issue with the radar - model spawns, however it does not read speed. Am I supposed to fire it, or just aim it? (The manual says aim, but not 100% sure on it.)
  14. The primary thing that the visualsettings.dat file will change that should affect you is taxi lighting and ELS lighting. Here's what it looks like from opposite ends of the spectrum. Before I begin, I'm using Next Gen ELS ENB as a timecyc modifier. In other words, I'm only using the visualsettings.dat and timecycle*.dat files. Next Gen ELS ENB uses 1385 as a default modifier for general emissive settings. Let's add a zero to that. car.defaultlight.emissive.on 13850 As obviously indicated, the taxi lights are very bright, as are the ELS lights. Now let's look at the other end of this and remove about 4 zeroes. car.defaultlight.emissive.on 1.38 Here, the ELS lights are very dim - unnoticeable, unless you're looking at the texture the light is itself. However, the taxi light "bug" is gone. Pick a setting that gives you a good balance between taxi lights being too bright and ELS lights being too dim. (The Granger's cruise lights were active in both shots. The taxi had the same advert board displayed in both shots.)
  15. I can send you mine if you'd like, I'd have to pastebin it right fast though. Everything here on down is edited in. ELS.ini /ELS/fedsigvision.ini (POLICE file. PRML: Rotator SECL: [unused] WRNL: Halogen) /ELS/whedge9k.ini (Unreferenced. PRML: Strobe SECL: Strobe WRNL: Halogen) /ELS/chargersuper.ini (FBI file. PRML: LEDs SECL: Traffic director WRNL: Halogen) /ELS/buf2_vectm.ini (Unreferenced. PRML: LEDs SECL: Marquee board WRNL: Halogen) Hope these help!
  16. Ah, bugger. Thought there was a third coded-in ambient traffic stop. As for LCPDFR ambient traffic stop, I've yet to have one occur, sadly. Most of the time it's just "police chase, drug deal, reckless driver, shots fired, police chase, game crash" for me.
  17. There's one by a church in middle Algonquin. On Columbus between Lorimar and Manganese, if I recall correctly.
  18. Having to ask for help doesn't bother me as much as it is the actual support process. Each time I've gone through Steam Support, I've been given the runaround by the bot. Each time I've gone through Microsoft Support, they always go a different direction than the issue lies. The only pleasant support experience I've ever had was through Mojäng AB (in fact I actually [jokingly] complained once that they were TOO timely in their response, the one in question being given seven minutes after I shot them a Tweet.) As for the topic of munging, I have literally infinite disposable email addresses I can set up within ten seconds. I don't need to worry about munging, haha. Anyway, this is starting to derail, if you reply to this mind doing so in PM?
  19. I used the "Contact Us" form. Resolved the issue by accident when my video drivers corrupted and I had to format the HDD, which was before the new year began. December 31, if I recall correct. (The next day, my PSU shorted to ground.) Munging, I'll have to remember that.
  20. I wouldn't recommend emailing RockStar; when I did I sent my query at 2013-12-28 23:10:29 -0800, and I didn't get a reply until 2014-02-04 19:13:52 -0800. If you still want to go through with it, R*'s support email is support at rockstargames. I'll leave the domain off to confuse the spambots.
  21. Oh, Canada~* *For a short while now, Toronto Police have been stopping motorists for good driving habits and thanking them, much like shown in the video. However, last I checked they didn't give them $100USD per good driving stop.
  22. Well when I DO become an officer, I might have to consider them as an alternative to "wig-wag" lighting! (I'm not really a fan of wig-wag headlights)
  23. Easily. E: Note the date. E²: Found in the OP's ABOUT ME section.
  24. I swear to goat all these puns are krilling me.
