Thanks guys! It was an honor to be included in one of these!

I don't want to be that guy, but how about a spotlight on a community member that doesn't have a hundred thousand or more subscribers on YouTube. Someone that has been influential in the community. So far it looks like you're only focusing these spotlights on people that bring traffic to the website. Just a suggestion.

Brilliant article style! Hope to see more of these over the upcoming weeks - oh, and appreciate the nice mention too

Holy crap. Finally something got updated, and it's about someone I know! I've watched every one of his LSPDFR epsiodes on Youtube. 1ST COMMENT TOO!
  5. As quoted in the article: " Keep your eyes glued to your inbox, next month we'll be focusing on Mod Creators again! " These two spotlights were on youtube creators, we'll now be focusing purely on mod creators and community members again from now on.

  11. Great job man, don't waste time on people that are salty. They paint such a pretty picture of themselves to the public ;)

I knew purchasing a new monitor would put me in the spotlight!
  16. Appreciate it Albo! Thank you for the kind words, looking forward to future of not only myself and the group but all the awesome mods you continue to put out! I believe you are right when you suggest people directly in the modding community, but I also believe that there are a lot of YouTuber's that are very important in this community as well. I can't say this about myself, but a lot of traffic has been driven to LCPDFR/LSPDFR throughout the span of Code Zero's lifetime. Thank you for this opportunity to be featured, and I also look forward to future of LSPDFR and this community. I believe we're still only seeing the beginning, and I expect this community to grow day by day, and LSPDFR to be a household name, if it isn't already.

I watched every single one of his LSPDFR videos and multiple series of his gameplay as well. I gotta say he is by far the best youtuber I've ever seen. Even with almost 300,000 subscribers, in my opinion, he is still quite underrated.
  18. Can't wait for horse liveries.

The reason I am playing GTA for so many years was LSPDFR and is LSPDR mods guys. I love what you do and I was expecting you to do the same for RDD2 as well! I will continue to donate and support you G17 Media. Rock Star should share some of its profit with you!
  20. One think I love about RDR is the ambience, I sure wish GTA had that level of detail, example being in the store robbery when he aims at the suspect, all the dialogue. Makes stuff feel so much more immersive. I can't wait for this!

The murder scene shot is incredible. People don't always realize how hard it is to catch a good moment like that. Great work dude, keep it up!

Lundy couldn't have said it any better. I remember seeing your screenshots when I would peruse around this website before I had my PC and would be super jealous.

Gotta hand it to ya, man. You're the reason why I wanted to get a PC for these games. Yet I'll never have a PC like yours...
  26. In the article, and a further comment by myself, I mentioned that we will be shifting our focus back to mod creators for the next segment of the Community Spotlight. Youtube, like it or not, is still a massive part of this community, without it, we wouldn't have nearly half of the members we do now. I was even drawn to the site and the old LCPDFR modification five years ago through seeing it on youtube by chance. I already have some people in mind for the next spotlight, who will be contacted by myself in the near future and yes, they are mod creators. The entire point of the spotlight is to highlight and appreciate people who have contributed to the community by raising awareness of the mod (the likes of @JFavignano & @Zachary Houseknecht) and simply created awesome contributions to run alongside the core modification (the likes of @Albo1125). As I always say at the end of each spotlight, if you feel you'd like to be featured on the next community spotlight and have good reason to be, then contact me and we'll discuss the possibility

Congrats for being featured Jeff, it's deserved.

Respect for Albo ! Without this LSPDFR would not be even slightly the same. Arrest Manager and Traffic Policer, they should come standard with LSPD:FR download :D And then there is assorted callouts! Even though there are not many callouts you can really see the ambition. I love the mods and just the amount of time put into it, good interview :)

I hope someone mods cars into Red Dead so we get a Rockstar game that's like Red Dead Redemption but in modern times. Also, I love that you can literally toss the guy into the slammer lol.

Congrats and best of luck with the Universtiy. As a fan of your work I hope you can keep a balance in life and keep interested in LSPDFR.

My birthday is August 31st... why isn't that listed?
  35. Sam's mod made my childhood, and in my eyes turned GTA 4 into one the biggest modding community highlights Imhave seen in a game ever. I love GTA 4, it feels like you are in a real city, no constant update, modding is easy and the mods have increidble detail, range, quality and effort in them. It was the best combination of everything. And lcpdfr's creation took full advantage of this, as a result LCPDFR is the most realisitc experience I can ever find. And it is all for free. it's a real rollercoaster ride in IV, the missions are great, you really feel for the characters and sometimes hate them, the modding community is great, huge range of mods, all detailed, and loads of effort put into them. And the lcpdfr.com community, is amazing. As a result It's the best feeling ever to boot up the game and go on a patrol. Because of Sam, I discovered GTA 4, modded and played it for a few years (thoroughly enjoyed it) and still play it today, and it's a game I will always treasure. Sam showed me what it's really like to be a police officer of America. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LCPDFR WITH LOVE!
  36. Alright. I'll send you Seven $100 Gift Vouchers to use there. They owe the NASP several favours.
  37. Sam, what's your favourite Rusty Browns Ring Donuts flavour? I can send you a box, or seven.

I always loved seeing images you uploaded on instagram, you have an skill that it's there
  39. Awesome spotlight! In the argument regarding Youtubers, I think that Zach and Jeff are very influential to the community (as well as any other decent to large sized Youtubers). Likewise with Harper, I discovered LCPD:FR and fell in love with it through Kpax back in 2012 (who unfortunately shut his Youtube down after real life got in the way, taking his videos with him :( ) and that was when I discovered Buggs. Since then, I have played LCPD:FR and LSPD:FR almost non-stop. I think if it weren't for our Youtubers, this community (which BTW, doesn't mean just this site, it refers to anyone who plays GTA:IV as well as other sites in the community, honestly) would not be as large nor as successful as it is today. I find some reasoning behind this... whether it be the fact that it gets news out to people about such a modification or even showcases of mods which allow people to find out about them and then they go and download the mods.
  40. Just because he isn't active on a site doesn't mean he has contributed to the community. I don't understand why you resent the decision to feature him in the community spotlight. I think it's well deserved, if it weren't for youtubers like Zach there would be a lot less people in the community.
  41. Great spotlight! Hopefully @Bayareabuggs, or @Polecat324 next!
  42. I definitely find myself tuning in to Zach when I need a break from the realism of Jeff & Buggs. I couldn't agree more about Albo's mods they add a whole nother level to lspdfr. Great spotlight, guys!

I admittedly didn't read the entire article because, to put it bluntly, I don't really care about the YouTubers, but it's nice to hear about mod creators and community members being spotlighted from now on. Thanks.

I remember one day I was searching for a cop/emergency game that was realistic and this is the video I found (the link at the bottom). After watching some of Jeff's videos, I purchased GTA IV for the PC and the rest, well, led to where I am today! Thank you for all the hard work you put into your videos, Jeff! What makes you different is that you truly enjoy what you do - your videos accurately reflect your feelings towards the game, and that is why many of us enjoy watching your content! I hope the next time we see you featured you're at a million subscribers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6wZgUSFGWg&list=PLo5whi14bKmjCc8M8BH-B-Ha3iBc3JNdy&index=65

To code like you do Albo at your age is a huge accomplishment in my opinion. Your gonna go far! Thanks for donating your time to these mods. I do not think I would be playing LSPDFR this long if it was not for your mods.

Nice interview! I can't believe he started modding less than a year ago, what a talent! Only one question: How is this "new series" any different from "Member behind the Mod"?
