Comment something I've observed. The global event two ped fighting, a wound is displayed automatically Ambulance game, but the doctor never gets resuscitate the ped, I have to be me or I call the ambulance by policehelper. If I call the ambulance reanimates the policehelper, when arrest and ordered him to follow me to carry the station, is mounted in the ambulance and go!. My questions are:

- Is there any way to not display the game automatically ambulance?

- Could you do that when a suspect has been revived by the ambulance call is arrested by policehelper annul the order to go in the ambulance?

 

Note: Also when this happens two ambulances meet one of the game and one that I call myself, but as I said the game can never revive the ped.

If you are asking if there is a way to totally block spawning of ambulances created by game then no. My script block them when you call for ambulance, but if there is one already spawned by game I'm not removing it.

I guess you are also asking if you could arrest ped after reviving by paramedics then... I don't know. I never tried it. I just let them to go to hospital and assume that other officer will take care of it :D

 

that's a other thing I went to star junction where am guessing all the tourists are but for some reason nobody wants to take a picture of me or ask directions and I been walking all over star junction for 10 mins straight. 

I've just been there and first event that happened was photo request. You just were unlucky. Maybe other event was happening nearby and you didn't notice it so it blocked next event to spawn, because it was still active.

I agree with this. Would be very awesome. BTW, Abraxas you did a good job again, i've got the speeding vehicles and drunk drivers even in Countryside Mountains, feels like a real HP there!

Does that mean when your EMS service revives someone they get into the ambulance? I was going to ask about something like that.

One little thing I noticed before when I was processing a suspect and putting the knife he into evidence is just a little English error in the message that appears when you drop off evidence at the station. I believe it says something along the lines of 'Evidence were dropped off at the station', whereas the proper wording would be 'Evidence was dropped off at the station'. 

 

Evidence is one of those words that means both plural (multiple) and singular. So where you might have cars were racing (plural)/a car was racing(singular), evidence is always 'was', unless you're saying a piece of evidence was/pieces of evidence were.

 

Sorry if I just gave you a totally unnecessary English lesson. It's really not a major problem at all :P

Yes. If there is room in back of the ambulance they will take injured person with them if he is seriouusly wounded.

Ok.So I have been messing around with this. Gotta say, brings a whole new level to the immersion of the LCPDFR group. Only problem I have, is that I am getting an out of memory error every time I close GTA IV. I have a hard time believing that I am out of memory as I have 2GB vid card, 8GB of RAM, and GTA IV is running on a 1TB hard drive...

It might be it. I will try to uninstall it today as I get that errors and total freeze sometimes. I'll let you know if that helped.

 

Having an issue with the medics; they're still removing dead persons when the option is set to false.

To be honest that option was never tested enough. I will rewrite it adding your request for option to not block EMS call when there are only bodies on scene.

Did you by any chance installed GTAPolicingTools lately? I'm reciving same error and I suspect that it's that mod, but I have to make some more tests.

 

 

Hi, yes i've been receiving the same error/issue since installing GTAPolicingTools yesterday, in fact i came on the forum today to find out why i was getting this error, looks like we may have possibly found the common denominator, I'm not mod bashing i just like to know what needs removing/updating as i also replaced the scripthook and added the Policehelper 1.0.0 BETA yesterday.

Nobody is bashing. Mods cause errors, that's normal, especially mods for other mods like PoliceHelper, Bravehearts script or GPT.

Ok now i'm really confused, I've removed GPT ran game and it still crashed on exit, so i removed PoliceHelper and put back the older version (pre coroner one), ran game and again it still crashed on exit, the only other thing i added yesterday was a scripthook but the thing with that is i can't remember which one i had in previously (so many scripthooks come with mods or are advised with mods i have quite a few laying around now)

 

Thanks for your previous reply I'll just wait now to see if you find Sniper296's thread that you mentioned earlier, hopefully that will sort this out.

Just a thought, now that your script includes custom events, are they dependent on the pedestrian proximity and traffic, and not on the map? Do the world events work on custom maps? (Without dependence on the LC-map.)

Events will happen on custom maps as long as requirements are met. Requirements are very varied. For Photo event it's ped model, for car theft it's parked car, ped nearby and no police (except you) around etc.

So far I've only encountered a single spelling error.  When checking IDs, the address listing is shown as "adress."  It is missing a second 'd'. 

 

Otherwise though, I'm having quite a good time with the update! :D

Ok part 3:

 

I found the scripthook that i had before the exit crash and replaced that too, so thats no GPT, older version of PoliceHelper (now i've got the rather annoying permanent red text update to current version but i can live with that for now) and the original scripthook but its still crashing on exit. Don't understand why as i'm now back to every file that i had before the exit crash?

 

At this rate i'm going to have to consider a complete re-install and start from scratch unless anyone else has any ideas?

Ahh just found Snipers removal guide, it explains a lot as there are many things need removing/returning to original,  just going to run the game now as i've removed/edited everything that was listed.

 

Will report back shortly.
