Hi good people.  I can't get LSPDFR to load.  in fact: it crashes my game and locks it onto my screen (can't C+A+D) and have to reset my machine.

I thought that maybe that my windows defender was throwing a fit.  I can get Ragehook to load but as soon as I reload all plugins (which right now is only LSPDFR), it just dies.  Any thoughts? I know this is a common problem, but I can't find a straight forward answer.

  • Did you guys "update" through OPEN IV? If you open OPEN IV, it should tell you to update on top. Don't remember exactly what is said but something along the lines.

    Started having this problem this morning, was working fine last night, very frustrating..

Having the exact same problem since updating my game, haven’t been able to play since. Knew I should have stayed offline and happy haha. Would like to know how to fix this though.

Try opening your RPH settings (hold shift while double-clicking the RPH.exe icon) and setting the "Plugin timeout threshold" to 60000:

Mine is already maxed out haha, so no that’s not it sadly. Everything was smoothe until I updated lspdfr. Everything else works, eup, all my cars, the police tape mod. Only thing not working is LSPDFR, and it crashes as soon as it loads.

 

Edit: just to clarify this is after I updated my game to the newest patch, updated Rage, Scripthook, all that fun stuff.

I notice you have "enableCounterMeasuresAgainstOnlineVehicleRemoval" enabled. Try to disable it. Solved the problem for me!

I thought that maybe that my windows defender was throwing a fit.  I can get Ragehook to load but as soon as I reload all plugins (which right now is only LSPDFR), it just dies.  Any thoughts? I know this is a common problem, but I can't find a straight forward answer.

 

 

are you using the newest lspdfr version -> 0.4.3?

Okay, and yea I tried those already, sadly, but thanks for the reply. Hopefully somethings figured out soon cause I haven’t got to get on there once since I updated.

hey can anybody take a look at my log and tell me if im doing something wrong, my lspdfr keeps crashing and giving the lspdfr tried to read or write to protected memory warning.

anyone know if i can fix this or do i just have to wait for a update.

Yes I did. Also, for anyone else having this problem, I did find one solution about updating your drivers. Idk why that works for just lspdfr, makes no sense to me, but maybe that’ll help someone else with this problem. Didn’t fix it for me though.

I’d love to, but for some reason I can’t sign into LCPDFR on my pc. Using my phone right now. Also it’s rare I get a log, either it freezes to the point I have to restart my pc, or it crashes to desktop and never pulls up my log.

I think you're talking about the RPH crash log. You need to post your RagePluginHook Log, which you can find in your main GTA V directory. It will be labeled RAGEPLUGINHOOK and should be a text document.
