It is certainly something we are thinking about, however, we will need to figure out a few things first, such as limiting abuse (which will require some backend engineering), before we will make a decision on how (or whether) we make the sync services available via API.

I am mostly a single player in my gaming world as i dont really get involved in playing with other real people in multiplayer games. I like reading and seeing how others are getting on but mostly just do my own thing. However i love to see stats and anything that deepens immersion. I have no issue others seeing how i am getting on as well.
It could be fun to see more of the off duty stats too. How many rounds of golf played, the showers taken thingy, etc. I have yet to really see whats out there while off duty. There are mods that open up things like the beach gym and adds nightclubs on GTA5-mods.com site but the few i have tried seem to crash my game.

But i would love a kind of fitness stats. A police gym or city gym where we could kid of workout and the LSPDFR apps show how your doing. Maybe a medical stats, shooting range stats etc.

But i am rambling on about silly stuff hehe.

Thank you anyways and looking forward to checking this out Sam and Team.

Will LSPDFR sync related features be added to the API at some point in the future? It would be cool for callouts/plugins to be able to add their own stats and activities to the activity feed. E.g. "Bob Vance just freed 5 hostages at the Pacific Standard Bank", "EMS just saved 2 people on Vespucci Boulevard... sadly, 3 people did not make it", etc.

Some points I would really appreciate in future version (if they are not mentioned yet):

Improved backup units: Very often I call for backup units and they just walk around and do nothing (except for pursuits). Especially when I have callouts like "Gang related violence" this is very annoying. Also it would be nice if you could call for backup before you reach the crime scene. Or maybe the API developers can do anything that multiple units except me will automatically respond. But when I call for backup in such callouts they should just act like bodyguards. The player should be able to do first aid before EMS arrives EMS and Firefighters in the backup menu. During a traffic stop you should be able to select lower and higher citations (e.g. 10$, 20$, 50$, 100$, 200$, 300$) I don't know if this is possible, but it would be great if you can put on a warning vest when you need it, e.g. when walking on highways. Spawn Barriers, Cones and Flares Create checkpoints like in LCPDFR You need to collect evidence in some callouts. It would be also nice if you need to secure the crime scene and then call the FBI to investigate and you keep away the civilians and search for witnesses I don't know if that is possible, but there are many areas on the map where it's difficult for an ambulance to come there. So maybe somebody can create a skin for a rescue helicopter which can be dispatched to the scene World Events: I think this is the most important point because focusing on traffic while patrolling gets a bit boring with the time. There are some GTA V related "world events", but I would like to see more different events. Just some examples: drunkard, burglar, fight, sexual abuse, insult, suspect putting a fire, unconscious person, tourist asking for a special location or for a picture etc. Some points might be more interesting for API developers and I hope they will read that to. And as always: Thanks for your great work!

    Hi,
Love the mod so far and really like the fact that it has so much potential for growth.  As opposed to LCPDFR, LSPDFR lets us play around with different agencies and their respective responsibilities.  I recently started enjoying doing some RP as a game warden.  This led me to offer the following suggestions:
-Make the ranger stations (there are two I believe) locations to go on duty and also allow these locations to have the jail feature for inmate drop off.
-When calling for local backup in one of the state parks make it so that the game wardens respond.
    - Eventually I would love to see a feature where if you stop someone inside the state park boundary you can check their hunting/fishing license in addition to their ID.  Not sure if this is possible but an idea that would be kind of cool.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Rage developed by one of the G17Media team members?  <(Answered by SuperStumpje)
Also I thought Rage was developed so LSPDFR could have more flexibility in what they want/need to do?

On a unrelated point, @Sam is it possible to have a interaction with civilians and weapons?  I mean not everyone who carries a gun is a hostile threat, many civilians can carry hunting rifles and pistols even concealed carry for ones who are walking the street.  I'm wondering can we have a more detailed interaction with civilians so even a traffic stop isn't a 30 sec event? (Yes I know you are working hard and there will be more detail and interaction coming :) )  I was just curious if something like the following would be possible to add.  I know in LCPDFR if they had a weapon it was automatic jail because of gun control laws but LS has open stores and carry so not everyone who has a gun would be a criminal.
    Example:
    Traffic Stop
    > Officer has ability to ask if there are any weapons on them or in the vehicle
    > Driver says YES > Officer ask for licence/permit > If licence if valid (If no Jail/Fine)> Officer Secures weapon until end of traffic stop.
    > Driver says NO > Officer searches person/vehicle > Weapon found > Officer can search using computer if driver has a carry licence/permit > NO > Jail

The carry licence can be tied in with the driver licence information when they hand it over, since normally during a traffic stop the driver will tell the cop right away and hand the licence/driver licence over at the same time.

    Just an idea

Firstly you do a very great job.
For suggestions : - a massive gang shooting (maybe with Michael Trevor Franklin ?).
                                 - attack on police station like Terminator 1 (a "boss" with many health, i don't know if is possible ?).
                                 - attack on animal.
                                 - drug deal.

    -Subject checks
    -Welfare checks
    -Suspicious Activity
    -Noise Disturbance
    -Meter maid assistance Call
    -Drunk Subject
    Maybe for those Park Rangers
    -Animal problem
    -Dog bite
    -Stranded Survivalist
Just some simple realistic Callouts that you'll see on patrol. But all maybe in a Search Radius so it's not to easy and predictable.

I have downloaded this mod and i keep getting police on me when i am in gun fights whilst on calls, is there anyway to stop this?
Other than that this MOD is very good and i would like to suggest some call out ideas these are:
Domestic violence Theft Assistant required (Paramedic need of assistant, Officer need of assistant) Suspicious person/vehicle (Example suspicious car parked near airport etc) Unknown problem (Example a caller as phoned in for police support however the phone line cut off, when officer arrives he or she could be dealing with a fight, murder rape, theft etc) Mental illness and suicide situations First aid response (Police officer first on scene and needs to provide first aid to a person)

Gaming is a privilege. If you don't have the money for the game, you shouldn't buy it. You don't expect Rockstar to support a version of their product that other people are giving away for free, so why should you expect people who make content for that game (mods) to support it as well?
It may not be a hate crime to pirate games, but it certainly isn't victim-less. People who make games need money not only for their paychecks, but also to maintain the infrastructure that allows them to create, develop, distribute and support those games. As for Sam and everyone else at G17: they do not condone piracy for fundamental reasons, so don't expect anything.
As for those that argue that "there are people without the money to buy games", I have some tough words for you: too bad. If I didn't have the money to buy games, I certainly wouldn't argue that piracy was a legitimate way to deal with it. I won't judge anyone for pirating games, since that's none of my business, but don't expect people who actually paid for the privilege of using this game and mod are willing to subsidize others' gaming habits with our time.

I see a lot of potential in this addition, but it seems as if it'll be extremely buggy. I'd say work on fixing the existing bugs before adding anything new. I wouldn't mind it being added, just as long as everything else is fixed first.
