What are we using to search a vehicle? Only plugins I'm currently  using are arrest manager, smart radio, LSPDFR Computer+ and traffic policer.

Darkmyre's Search Warrant is the #1 mod to use for ped and vehicle searches.  There is a "Police Search" mod, but it has some issues and the author is not working on it anymore.

Stop The Ped is your friend

Search Warrant and Stop the Ped are the only two I think that still work. Search Warrant is found on the authors site, and last I checked forced a full search of all doors, trunk and even the engine compartment I believe. It's nice if that's what you're looking for. Stop the Ped I would suggest with or without Search Warrant and has it's own search function included. I personally dont use Search Warrant as I use a lot of plugins already and didn't want to add another for something a mod I had already did more than sufficiently. 

 

I'm not sure if were allowed to link his site or not but a quick search will get you there on Google. He also has a nice partner mod I enjoyed using in .3 though havent had a chance to play .4 yet as I'm in the process of setting it all up so idk how well it works now.

I cant get the SearchWarrant mod to work. Installed in the right areas and still nothing. The 3 files in plugins-lspdfr and the folder in there as well. Something Im missing?

I was using Police Search on 0.3 and I liked that for the vehicle search because you have to go to each door and trunk to search that spot.  I guess that isn't working anymore from what some on here say.  I was just going to install Stop the Ped for the first time then 4.0 came out and i figured i would start fresh.  Does Stop the Ped have it's own search feature or do you still need to install Darkmyre's search for Vehicles and Peds?  4.0 looks like it has a frisk feature and items that are on the ped but can't search vehicle. 

I searched a vehicle but forget how i did it. I read it in the config files. sorry cant give any further info, currently at work.

 

Search Warrant works with the F10 key, and i use SW and stop the ped together because i use the K9 from police partner, which uses search warrant, just disable the F10 key in SW ini so it won`t conflict with STP if you are using the K9.

Only search warrant opens everything!

Stop The Ped had option to search vehicle.

Use StopThePed + Search Warrant. G button to search vehicles and interact with downed NPCs (search them) etc.
