    Might have to reinstall GTA. Make sure you make an original gta file next time!

    If you type "save" in the F4 Console provided by RPH you can save your off duty outfit and on duty outfit. It will say something like "SaveOnDutyOutfit" and "SaveOffDutyOutfit" or something along those lines. It will save whatever you have on at the time when you type in the command and press enter.

    I'm thinking of wiping my LSPDFR file cause I already did some handling stuff and trying this out.
    Has anyone tried this before?

    Don't forget to add heap adjusters, game config etc if you haven't yet for modding stability.

    Hi There,

    Good decision to play LSPDFR (again) and good to have you here.

    I play LSPDFR several years and I modded the game to perfection. The provided Links here are hand picked and my favourites. It runs very stable and my aim is to achieve the greatest possible degree of realism and immersion and I attach great importance to realism and immersion. I have often read the question about stable plugins. That's why I decided to open this thread. i'm taking the time here to list the plugins with the links because i want to give something back to this community.

    Most plugins are from lspdfr.com. but some are from GTA5mods.com.

    Hello everyone I'm enjoying my time back and playing LSPDFR again.
    Just wanted to know peoples suggestions for stable working addons/mods for LSPDFR right now. I have all the basics already ofcourse.
    Looking for map suggestions (open IV install only) and any scripts for making the world feel more alive (ambience mods etc) and anything else anyone can think of that they are using right now that makes the game feel more fun and/or immersive! 😀

    This thread will be a work in progress;

    Alright it's been a year and a bit since my last thread with my build for LSPDFR and it's time to do it again! My computer is a beast now compared to before (will include specs down the bottom) so I can run everything maxed out so that's what this list will be based on, just remember add one thing at a time and test for as long as possible then add more. Add what suits you and fits your PCs capabilities. That has been my key to getting this far with near perfect stability with play times of up to 2 hours... most of the time. Be warned LSPDFR will break eventually!
    Going to keep Callout packs & vehicles out this as that's completely subjective & and things change like game version, bugs & issues.
    The .ini files and settings have been tweaked to my preferences which is basically maximum difficulty. Cars that are designed to be fast will get away in pursuits if you're not quick and same goes with the super sprint being tuned down to be a more of a realistic burst of energy so foot pursuits will last longer! I don't play this game to win I play for immersive roleplaying so tweak the settings how you want them if these do not suit you!

    With just these running and nothing else the game should work almost flawless. It's when you start adding mod packs and plugins is when LSPDFR becomes can become more unstable.

    Yeah I'ma be honest in game I can barely tell the difference. The only thing that actually matters to me is having decent coronas on EMS lights during the day and draw distance in game. Not to mention I'm pretty lazy and cbf going over the visual mods again after like 4 attempts lol. If you or anyone can find a perfect mix I'm keen to apply it to my game.

    - Adding CompuLite and STP script additions to thread. (In immersion).

    Will be adding more specific settings to the thread today related to controller functionality. I need to go through all the codes of ELS so I can just set the ones I want to the controller (mainly just stages, siren and light changes only) along with compatibility with plugins like Ultimatebackup etc so it actually feels nice to use a controller without issues. I don't like driving with a keyboard especially with realistic driving mods on, feathering is a nightmare.
    Good call, I only clicked on the EUP Menu and went off that. Will correct now thanks! 😛

    sssneaky got a reaction from Upass in How to play LSPDFR after an update (waiting for new RageHook)
    I'm using the retail version of GTAV (Rockstar launcher) I have no idea if this method works with Steam and/or Epic Games Launcher versions of GTA V!

    If you're like me and downloaded the new update for GTAV thus preventing you from playing LSPDFR until updates roll out and didn't make a backup save of your GTAV file before the recent update. I have a method in order to play the older version with LSPDFR as long as you have a backup of the old game files. (I don't use the Rage backup, I simply just copy my entire GTAV folder without mods and with a stable mod collection seperate so I can go back to a stable state of my game) however after this I'm probably going to use Rages inbuilt backup to save plenty of time lol.

    Thought I'd post this incase anyone else was stuck like me wanting to play the game.
    Simply paste these files into your main GTAV directory and open the game via the .exe provided. Then once your games fully loaded up you can start the RAGEPluginHook.exe and it will hook into your game, give it a minute and you should be able to load your plugins if you haven't got them set to automatically load in Ragehook. This will also allow you to play GTAV singleplayer if you need to for whatever reason. Hope this helps!

    Hmm not sure about this one. Sure you're using the previous version of GTAV without the update?
    When you start LSPDFR you should copy the original GTAV files and keep them elsewhere I do this plus copy a stable running version of the modded GTAV seperate also so that when things go wrong I just delete my GTAV modded file and go back to either one of these original stable files.
    A week or two probably for the update at most, if we're lucky within the week.

    As for the old version of GTAV if you didn't back it up, there's no chance of you getting it. The upload size alone for that would be to great for anyone to do and any website to handle without paying a lot of money.

    Just be patient. 😀

    This thread will be a work in progress;

    Gameplay & Meta:
    With just these running and nothing else the game should work almost flawless. It's when you start adding mod packs and plugins is when LSPDFR becomes can become more unstable.

    I am constantly updating this thread with more mods so keep an eye on it. My computer is pretty low spec so if your PC is a beast then add more on top of this list, just remember add one thing at a time and test for as long as possible then add more. Add what suits you and fits your PCs capabilities. That has been my key to getting this far with near perfect stability with play times of up to 2 hours... most of the time.
