Guys, a clean install is the way to go.

API changed a lot compared to 0.3, just delete everything mod related, verify game files integrity ( if you are using the steam version) and install only LSPDFR. They said a lot that plugins would be broken, idk how you guys insist on using 0.3 plugins. It's like trying to use a newer software with older patches. Save yourselves from frustration and headaches.

Thanks for the release. However, the biggest issue remains... Just pulled someone over for a routine check. She starts shooting, I call for backup. Everyone goes crazy, bus driver rams me over, backup starts shooting civilians...

But I am sure you guys can fix it 😄

Now, some civilian run over the paramedic in panic with her car, the paramedic starts punching the civilian. Police starts shooting the paramedic. Save me from this mess....

In!

Congrats gents! Look forward to checking this out! Thanks. Thanks for all you have done. Including the others who created all the add-ons we use as well!

I seriously hope people are not just installing this without doing a fresh install of everything.

I will give credit where credit is due, this is amazing!!! There is just so much potential with your work guys. But i just don't think it's quite ready. E.g. only one uniform available, no 0.3 plugins supported which makes the game just too vanilla etc. I just don't think I'm personally ready to start using 0.4. I think I'll wait just a bit longer... 🤗

Now before any of y'all come at me saying I'm being too harsh this has just been released this is an amazing update so much has changed don't be such a jerk to the developers blah blah blah, I'm simply voicing the opinion of myself and others at this moment in time. That's all this is, an opinion/statement. Don't sue me.

I think it's worth noting that LSPDFR only ships with data intended to be used with a clean installation (ie, no EUP or RDE). There's only one (actually two, the IAA has one as well) outfit because that's all that's available in the game by default.

I believe people involved with EUP and RDE are working on compatible data files, but in the meantime, you're free to check the LSPDFR Wiki for information on customizing your LSPDFR experience.

"Work and ideas get stolen, then you keep moving on doing your thing."

Thank you team for all the work!

Notes so far:

-Works fine on steam version, latest RPH and patch.

- Constant freeze on character creation when changing any hair color, eye color, etc. Game freezes when using PageUp to switch up a color. Works fine if you only use PageDown, lol.

- Weirdness interacting with a detained ped. Have to walk away, then back up to them to line up just right for the frisk and grab options to show up

- Installed fine with auto installer right over a lightly modded LSPDFR 3.1. I removed all plug-ins, ran 3.1 uninstaller, then 4.0 auto install

- ELS works fine, ELS vehicles work fine and I didn't have to do anything to them

- It loaded all callouts I already had in 3.1 but not all are working fine. A few have had glitches with dialog and arrests. Press End on the keyboard to force a call out to end. PeterU call outs load but throw an error

- EUP and EUP menu work fine. I used the LSPDFR 4.0 locker menu to equip a basic uniform and go on duty, then use EUP menu one outside the station

- Simple V trainer works but it's not loading custom dlc addon car packs for some reason. Might be something I did wrong.

I figured plug-ins would not work yet so I have not tried them

honestly I do not know why lspdfr does not take all your add-ons and integrates them into the main mod, I think that would prevent these things from happening,
