It happens way too frequently at the moment though, it's not fun or realistic to have to be pistol whipping and shooting dead bystanders who decide to attack you for no apparent reason with automatic weapons. 🤦‍♂️

Anyone else checking the site for the update to drop everyday sometimes twice a day. Every now and then it pulls up the news page and I see 0.4 and I get excited then I realize it didn't actually drop. So excited. I assumed it will drop New Years though.

It's not our decision as we cannot run any kind of untrusted code on these platforms.

You never know. Just  because the preview series is ending doesn't mean that 0.4 will be released just after.

Errr, yeah okay. Pretty sure it will be released within the next several months, logically speaking, and going off of what we already know; also the tone of the developers.

This is something that we're currently discussing internally.  There are a lot of fundamental changes in 0.4, so we have to be thoughtful with how we approach this.

This is me speaking as myself, not as a member of G17 Media or on any "official" capacity.  Based on the other previews, it seems like 0.4 is going to offer most of what Albo's mods do, aside from Smart Radio.  There will still be some features from his mods that we don't have (coroner being one of them.  I don't recall Sam ever saying in past 0.4 threads if this was a thing), but for the most part, I think 0.4 may be beneficial in knocking down how many extra LSPDFR dependent mods we need, which is really a good thing.

 

Bro people create plugins and scripts because....... they enjoy making plugins and scripts. So I agree totally, don't let any plugins and scripts hold you back or stop you from developing your mod the way you want to or intended to. You'll find the plugin and script makers will..... recreate their plugins and scripts around you taking out what's not needed anymore and putting in other things organically.

 

I must admit albo's mods are pretty much essential so incorporating some of his features at lower level would be nicer on my my computer fans that would be sure.  

 

Anyway thanks for the news LSPDFR team this is so exciting! 

LSPDFR 0.2 introduced officers asking dispatch about his location, like "Can't see him, where is he?" and dispatch replies "Suspect last seen in uhmmmm ..." or "Suspect heading north ...". Also officers said  things over the radio like "Suspect has entered the free way".  I really loved that!

 

Somehow this got removed in 0.3 (or is at least not working).

 

Are you guys readding (or fixing) this for 0.4?
