What was that part about the police officer being run over in 2001? Reenacting Need for Speed? That's a load of bull, there's NEVER been pedestrians, yet alone police officers, that you can run over i

  • Holy crap what a joke of a report... The funny thing is I reckon most of the people who play LSPDFR are some of the more pro-police individuals who are probably more sympathetic to the troubles office

Sounds like CNN.

That news report sounded way more like FOX news than CNN, come on. Making stuff up, appealing to the geezer demographic, taking the "THEY'RE TRYING TO KILL COPS" angle. Anyone who watched that report and got "libtards" out of it needs to reevaluate their political biases and consider that not everything you dislike is proliferated by a political party you disagree with. Also you're a f'ing moderator, you shouldn't be encouraging people to use language like that on the forums. For shame.

There were no swear words in his post. Also, we're all entitled to our own opinions. Yes, even moderators. I'm just having a discussion and contributing to a conversation, is that allowed? Let's all chill and get along.

In regards to your opinion, the last time I checked, it was the Democrats and Democratic networks (such as CNN, MSNBC, etc.) pushing the anti-cop hate rhetoric. Fox News has always been more moderate (may I even say right-wing). Not to try and bring this off-topic further, but I think we can all agree that this report is a ridiculous attack against a pro-police community (us).   Nevermind, I misread your post. I understand where you're coming from since it is a pro-police report, although their method of making stuff up and exaggerating is extremely similar to CNN and most left media.

"Cuck" is offensive, even if it's not a "swear" word. "Libtard" doesn't seem like a very nice phrase either. If you don't think those are rude, then maybe you're blinded by your own glee in "triggering liberals" or whatever satisfaction it is that some people seek in using these terms.

This report was obviously a misguided but ultimately pro-police angle. They're saying "gamers want to shoot police; the police are scared". That's a pro-police stance, not an anti-police stance. Of course they misunderstand that the mod is pro-police, which is what makes their report so absurd, but they are presenting themselves as being pro-police. To take the other extreme, if an outlet that you'd probably consider to be biased liberal media like DailyKOS reported on this mod in a manner as biased as Channel 7 did, they would say "this mod is bad because it lets people play as evil cops and shoot innocent people". But 7 reported the exact opposite, they said "this mod is bad because it lets you shoot cops".

Thanks for re-reading what I said and correcting yourself. And as my final comment on this matter, let us just remember who invented "alternative facts". Feel free to believe what you want to believe, objectively speaking "making stuff up" is in no way confined to the "left media".

Can someone please tell those knuckle heads that it isn't a game, it's a mod. Then tell them that it's not based around killing the police, it's about working alongside the police.

Also, something that I generally use for reference. Seems relatively accurate to me for those that are interested.
