The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Is it easier to use a controller then the keyboard for LSPDFR?

I use my old 360 controller for driving/piloting and switch to the keyboard for on-foot things like traffic stops and shootouts, as K&M is much more accurate than a controller.

There are programs that will let your pc run a ps4 controller. I've done it before. Google it. GTA V works better with the Xbox controller tho. I picked up a wired one from Target for $20. As far as LSPDFR is concerned you'll need both for optimized game play. Most plugins required you to press certain keyboard combinations that you cannot do on the controller.

I own a PS4 Controller is it possible to use my PS4 Controller? I'm getting tired of clicking the wrong key buttons for doing certaint stuff.

There's a program called "DS4Windows" I use with my PS4 controller, it works great, and you can connect it using bluetooth (if your pc has the required hardware for bluetooth connecting) or you can connect it via USB, I use the latter because Bluetooth has a bit of extra Latency which I don't like.

DS4Windows lets you customise the hotkeys for the controller, set the LED colour and all that sort of stuff, so the best part about that is that it makes the touch pad actually usable, so I swipe up on the touch pad for hot key "J", swipe down for hot key "Z", etc, and the touch pad can also be used as a mouse..

In saying that though, I tend to use both the controller and the keyboard, simply because I've got that many plugins and callouts that have their own menu and hot keys, there's just not enough buttons on the controller for them, so I only really use to keyboard when I'm playing to push the keys I have no room for to bind to the controller.
