Exactly. Once you know the changes you have made are good to go, just copy those folders to your backup folder.

I have yet to try his DLC pack deal. I'll have to give it a look.

I have a folder on my desktop that I name the date I save the backup, so for instance "041817" - I then copy the ELS, lspdfr, mods, plugins and scripts folders to that folder. That way if I make changes I don't like or need to revert back, I have my last "clean" version of everything saved outside my GTA V folder. I also have another folder called "Vanilla" that has the very basic LSPDFR settings saved to (basic mods for lighting, game fixes and basic plugins but no vehicle or extra plugins added).
Oh! I've also learned it's better to place any replacement or add-on vehicles in a specific patchday folder instead of replacing the actual model. This way if you want to remove a vehicle you don't have to worry about finding and replacing the default. I use patchday11 because it is the emptiest folder (Rockstar didn't add very many vehicles with this update so there is lots of space for my cars and helps me keep track of what I've added/replaced).

Yup. This. I actually turned mine all the way down for the same reason. It also keeps the pursuits from being such a mess because of how the AI love to run into all the traffic.

Miscellaneous Callouts will be back soon. I just decided I wasn't happy with the quality at the moment and have hidden it. 2.0 should hopefully be out at the end of the week however with over twice the callouts in it.

Oh, PM me your mailing address and I'll ship the controller out to you this week. Thanks and happy LSPDFR'ing!

This was something I was working on for S.W.A.T.: Revamped, but since it will take a while before that goes public I might just release this sooner on its own, if there is enough interest.

Hi Youtubers - I just uploaded my first mod with all of you guys in mind. It will keep you from having to constantly repair your police vehicle in between scenes and the NPC from looking ratchet af during a pursuit. Head over to the MISC section and give it a whirl. It's simple, yet effective and I can't play without it.

My name is Chester, 18, I live in North Texas. I play LSPDFR so I can run red lights without getting in trouble and set civilians on fire for honking at me too long.  On a serious note, I play it because it's so fun being able to play as a cop, the chases, the shootouts, the random events, really gives you an adrenaline rush. Always fun arresting drunks. Ever since I was little, I was fascinated with police things and whatnot, every chance I got, I would collect police cars and play around with them, (if I could keep track of them that is), ;). Now that I'm in college, I've made friends with a lot of the officers here, including the dispatchers! They're all cool once you get to know them.  With all that said, I would like the controller because currently I don't have one, my other one just completely shut down on me, I dropped it a month ago, and it hasn't turned on since, its really boring not being able to play most games on my PC.

So there you have it, my story.

Hi Everyone - I have a spare, brand-new wireless controller that I'd like to donate to a good home. I love the LSPDFR community, it definitely helps keep me occupied and has become a real hobby of mine. I have a serious "adult" job (as I'm sure most of you do) so it's nice to come here and "take a load off". I did reach out to LSPDFR staff to see if I could donate the controller directly to the website but never heard back. So I figured I'd put together a little "contest" to see who would benefit most from the donation. Simply tell me who you are, why you play LSPDFR and why you deserve the donation. I'll pick the most compelling story and PM you for mailing details. No gimmicks or nonsense. It's literally this or I chuck the controller in the trash (that adult job pays well, LOL).

I'll go first: I'm Nick, 31, I live in Socal and I play LSPDFR cuz I've always been fascinated with police and police cars. I work in the financial industry so LSPDFR is the closets I'll ever get to being a "real cop" driving a "real cop car". I wasn't even into PC games until I stumbled upon some LSPDFR videos on youtube. I bought my first gaming PC just to be able to play it, lol. LSPDFR is fun and ever-evolving (which is my favorite part).

Hey! I think it'd be really helpful if backup spawned only behind you when you're on a traffic stop. That way they don't ruin the flow of traffic by stopping on the opposite side of the road.

    Families Callouts
Prepare for a brand new arrival of bloody and violent callouts, all over the streets of Los Santos.
Los Santos is everything but a nice and quiet city, and you will be able to see it by yourself.

    Some planned callouts already:

         - Gang brawl : Prepare your taser and your backup, there's gonna be a lot of baseball bats, brass knuckles, and maybe some molotov cocktails.. Some good old riots back in the 70's
         - Drug deals : Hey, how did you think they make money? So now get your ass off your chair and go arrest those bastards !
         - Hostage situations : Drug isn't the only way to get some money. Why wouldn't people get some easy cash by kidnapping good old' innocent customers in stores ?
         - Officer down : Officers should know that it's a bad idea to go alone perform a pullover in those neighborhoods. One of your colleagues has been shot, you have to find out who's the shooter, and arrest him.

         - And some more : You wouldn't like to be spoiled the TV series you're actually watchin', right? Why not keep some suspens about the other callouts?

    Featuring:
         - Ambient events: Be on the lookout, you know those people don't like you, officer of the law.
         - ... Friendly ennemies ? : Would you imagine your friend stabbing you in the back with a knife? I do, and money does.

This is currently at a very-early stage.  You've seen a non-exhaustive list of the current planned features. Some things may be taken out or added into this project.
Thank you for reading and see y'all !
