    I've made a carcols a while back that just seems to work really well on pretty much any car you throw it on. Here's a demo of it on my Kansas cars, no edits were done to the cars.  If a

In the flashiness section, I am getting wrecked by the start and rotation values. Sometimes the vanilla lights have start of 0, and sometimes they start at other numbers and rotate, and I can't understand how to do that.

For example I have a light at 45 degrees on the front bumper: (.78539816 is the direction I want the corona to point)

f6d0d726c2cdb626ade870e77082daf0.png

Right now I set delta and start to 0 and the corona faces forward, and I do not have to rotate the mesh in Zmodeler. However, once I tell the corona to rotate to that value, how am I going to have to rotate the mesh?

Many thanks for your help.

Think of it like configuring siren1 or siren6 on vanilla sirensetting 1. The mesh on those must be rotated 90 degrees, in this case it's either going to be 45 or -45 degrees.

Trying out a new bar configuration with some red lights, not sure how realistic/accurate it is, but I'm happy with it so far:

Current Carcols:

Left blues:

<sequencer value="168430090"/>

Right blues:

<sequencer value="2694881440"/>

Left red:

<sequencer value="1077952576"/>

Right red:

<sequencer value="67372036"/>

With BPM:

<sequencerBpm value="1000"/>

Start I am not sure. I just always keep it at zero. Delta value is the rotation of the light.

So just to clarify. I am going to use environmental lighting but make the corona size 0. So, for like a back facing light, I need to rotate the mesh 180, and set it to rotate 180 in the carcols (leave start 0) and the environment light will face backwards?

No. You would set the delta to 3.1459265 in order for the enviromental lighting to shine backwards.

That would also mean I have to rotate that mesh 180 in Zmod right?

The rotation of the object changes with the rotation of the corona.

Hey^^

I don't know where to ask this, so I ask here x)

It kinda has to do smth with carcols, but it's about the visualsettings.dat

What value do I have to change to increase the environmental lighting? (reflection of the police lights)

It should be the visualsettings because, if I change my visualsettings.dat I get proper working reflections.

I tried to make my own visualsettings...

Thanks for help in advance :)

(sorry for so much text lol)

Environmental lighting is controlled by the light falloff distance and light falloff exponent in the carcols. Just increase the value to something like 150.

Are you sure? Because if there were a value in the visualsettings there would be a mod out for something like that a lot sooner than carcols.

Yes... Like I said: If you switch my visualsettings.dat I do have reflections... if I use my own visualsettings I don't have reflections :/

Oh. Sorry I don't really go into visualsettings often so I don't know.
