Suggestions for a new mouse?

Featured Replies

Hey.

So I broke my 3 years old mouse today (was a 20€ gaming mouse, but I was pretty happy with it actually) and have to use an old spare one I had somewhere. Obviously I want to buy a proper one now, so can anyone suggest one? I'd like to have at least 4 buttons additional to LMB, RMB and MMB, so that I have 2 at my thumb and 2 at the mouse wheel. Shouldn't be ridiculously expensive though.
Edit: Speaking of it, my keyboard is very old and a new one wouldn't be too bad, so I also take suggestions for keyboards.

Thanks for any suggestions.

I've got a Razer Deathadder, but I would imagine even the older model (which I have) is a bit too expensive. Same with the keyboard.   Let's not forget how/when you presumably broke your mou

  • Perfect design and color. Only bad thing is that it doesn't have enough buttons. On a serious note, when I'm asking for suggestions I don't want ones that are "trolls".

What kind of price range you going for?

Around 50€ max I think. Might go a bit higher though. However everything over 100€ is definitely too much.

I've been using the Logitech G602 for around 6-8 months now and cannot fault it - performs great and has amazing battery life.

:D Posting this was my task though.

Also, the Deathadder doesn't have enough buttons for me.

I don't know the currency conversion, but I have a Razer Taipan, and I love it. Super reliable and has configurable buttons on the side. Amazon lists it as $33

Logitech is the good way to go. Some chinese brands are also quite good for cheap prices.

I'd avoid Razer if I were you. They've a tendency to age very badly, and they're clearly overpriced for what they are.

I actually disagree about Razer. I've had a Black Widow Ultimate keyboard and the Taipan mouse for almost 3 years and they've treated me great.

My roommate also has a Razer keyboard and mouse for 5 years and they've treated him great as well. They're built well, and haven't let us down.

Counted, I don't end up with 12 (what I counted is enough though). Weird. I don't like having keys on the right side actually because some buttons tend to be quite hard to push in.

This one is very close to what I'm looking for. Though 100 grams is too light in my opinion, I like having heavy mouses.

This one does look quite nice too, too small however.

I have my doubts when it comes to wireless gaming peripherals.

Thanks for your suggestions so far.

I personally had a Razer keyboard, an Arctosa, and the space bar broke right after one year old of use (basically right after the warranty). Right now I've a sub-brand that costed me half-less, for the exact same daily use, and it didn't age a single bit. We can argue on the quality of them, but I still believe they're way overpriced for what they are or offer, they're a bit of the Alienware for PC peripheral devices.

So in the end I decided to buy the Lioncast LM30 which isn't that expensive but also has very good reviews. If I end up being unhappy with it within a few days, I might go for the Logitech G600 or G502.
