If this game comes out it will probably be one of the best games ever. (IMO)

"Activision", "Ubisoft", "Electronic Arts". three reasons for why this might be the worst game in the history of the world.

Honestly, it sounds more like Battlefield 3 meets COD354212, only with SWAT cops instead of soldiers. I'm not terribly optimistic about this game.

It is a niche genre though, developing a game around the concept of LCPDFR is far too expensive.

If that really is true, that just sucks. A patrol game beats the hell out of a SWAT game going in with explosions and M4s all over. The only good SWAT games around are R6V.

R6V is fun, but it isn't much of a SWAT game. SWAT 4 is fun as hell, and I always go non-lethal.

We feel this way, unfortunately the general population does not find relaxed gameplay fun. They'd prefer to have all of the explosions and such like that.

I tend to disagree. The main thing I believe, most games that are rather cilled out or w/e, don't make it onto consoles. Since there are alot of console gamers out there, game developers always try to aim at them for the money. Especially since programing on console is easier, as I've been told.

We won't know what it's actually like until they work some more on it and showcase the progress.Why bother predicting it when the only ones who know what it'll be like are the DEVs only.

So, this whole game is pretty much based on the movie SWAT which was based on the 1997 Bank Robbery in LA. Cool. I just wished there was an option to play as a "normal" officer with the LAPD and not just SWAT, but who knows....they might add that in.

Pretty much what you can expect when you let people from Activision, Electronic Arts and Ubisoft work on a game.

This game will hardly be different than COD or Battlefied, it seems to be the same generic FPS concept.
