Oh, you've created GTA within LSPDFR within GTA, huh? Yo dawg I heard you liked GTA... It's nice to see the animation, though. CopHolster is a little bit "rough", to say the least. Being abl

  • We're not a large company, we have 2 developers working on this free modification. If we decide to not give a release date for our free modification, we won't. That does not make us

Just to clarify This is a  free modification?  It wasnt quite clear hahahaha

LCPDFR has always been free, thanks to all of the development team, and ads on the site. Hopefully it will stay this way.

Will 0.3 fix the issue of AI cops immediately leaving a crime scene and running everyone and everything over? I wish there was a way to have the AI cops stay and maintain a perimeter. Currently, they just go berserk trying to leave after you finally make the arrest and they end up smashing into everything with their cars or start firing at pedestrians.

+1 this would add tremendously to immersion, I think.

Probably not - Has this been reported anywhere? Hasn't really bothered me so I might not have noticed it during testing.

Use the Keep Calm mod, hit left Ctrl + I (or Ctrl + H - can't remember, been a bit - one command stops traffic the other limits speed) and everybody will chill out when leaving the scene.  I use it every time without fail, and it really helps a lot.

So I'm not off topic; can't wait until the .3+ release.  Fantastic job so far guys.

Good luck.

We don't give release dates. Back when LCPDFR was in very early alpha we made the mistake of giving a release date, then failing to meet it by a few days.
The community response was overwhelmingly immature and negative. After that, we made a vow to never give release dates to anybody, not only can they not be guaranteed, but the immature uproar that follows afterword simply isn't worth it.

Thanks (insert sarcasm here) to the immature and negative people of the community for messing things up for everyone.... And big thanks to the makers of LSPDFR/LCPDFR! You guys take GTA to a level even Rockstar can't comprehend! much love... <333 I look forward to catching burglars and shoplifters in the act of stealing from homes and stores, rescuing hostages from airplanes and banks, strategic SWAT insertions/assaults on terrorist organizations and more!!!

That's the one with a yellow circle on the mini map right? If so, I already tried it. It only seems to work on regular peds and not the AI cops who will try just about anything to leave including repeatedly ramming the car I'm trying to search and that's just the ones in the cars. I'm hoping there's a way to get AI cops to stop wandering off on foot aswell. It totally breaks immersion when all your backup just walks off into the desert without their cars.

Well the running people over isn't really my issue, it IS an issue occasionally, but it's more the fact that the police are instantly dismissed from a crime scene once you place them under arrest. It would be much more immersive if they actually hung around for a while and investigated.

Not to mention that if a cop is dismissed by LSPDFR and drives by a dead body at the crime scene, they will pull over and get out of their car again to "investigate" it - this is a Rockstar script, it's one of the "TASK_SCENARIO" things.

It's not really a huge deal, I'd just like a crime scene to be a crime scene :D keep up the good work, team!

Nope, I use it to chill the cops out, as well as the peds.  Like you said, it's the cops you and I are worried about.

If I see them coming like mad dogs, and I hit the key and that circle pops up, once they hit that circle, or already in the circle, they stop or slow, whichever you selected.

It does work with AI cops 100% confirmed far as I'm concerned.  Try it.

Good day,

I also upvote this idea of  cops staying around for a while, holding a perimeter.

Currently when a callout is over, they use anything at their disposal (including people's abandoned vehicles) to just get out of that place. well also some of them decide to abandon their partners and drive off with their cars fast, leaving  some cops behind to walk off randomly out of the scene.

this is going to be so cool

Indeed it is. I'd like to see a hot key for EM. Such as a radio emergency button. In event needed and you can't mess with a menu one press sends a predetermined number of officers to assist for a officer down.

Just a thought. I'd really love to see the next version have option to track and chase someone who steals your patrol car. I've had this happen numerous times they jump in run me over. Some I shoot some get away. Wpuld be nice to hear a call stolen police car pursuit and catch they guy. Sometimes the aI dumps the car on a street but only found it once.

That's weird, I've never had my police car stolen.lol I'd recommend using "simple trainer" to save your car so it shows up on the mini-map so u can find it easier.

I'd be down for a stolen cruiser callout. I've had my police cruiser stolen a few times. The perp usually regrets it in the end, though.

No? Should i be??

No. You shouldn't. It can mess up LSPDFR. My friend found this out the hard way.

Batons attract media attention. Bleh. No officer wants that. Plus, it's also fun to watch some of the Dbags flop like fish. LOL!

Cops carry them in real life. It wouldn't hurt to make LSPDFR more believable.

And if you are afraid of "breaking immersion" by using a trainer option, "saving your car" = activating the anti-theft mechanism ;)
