Either this is going to be totally lackluster, or its going to fall apart in production. Maybe I'm just a pessimist, but it doesn't seem like they'll be able to deliver with the lack of funds and manpower they have. I hope I'm wrong though.

I'm not entirely sure if he was banned or not, i was't a moderator at the time of the incident. but he is still on the forums and still visits, so he isn't banned.

I think he really gave up attempting to market to the LCPDFR community. A lot of projects go through here where people try and market a police game, most never get into development or don't succeed. The people replying to the topic questioned the authenticity of Matt and the project he was pitching, as such his responses weren't the nicest or most professional. Due to that I guess he gave up trying to market here because he wasn't doing anything but dig himself into a deep hole. 

Now I kinda want to check his profile here out. whats his profile name?

Oh yeah, I wonder why the LSPDFR developers wont move all the way to Australia to develop our game for us, it's not like they have homes, live in the UK and spend all of their time developing their mod. It just does not make sense, does it?

I don't think that an old resurrected game is what 'we want'.

To be fair to the guy, he has somehow managed to found a company and get a budget of $12 million, so making a game could happen. No one's saying it'll be anything like the description he has on his website (or if it'll even get made at all), so we just don't know. Let's face it, we'd love a dedicated cop sim that wasn't total cr*p, but this guy is in too deep already. You'd need a studio of a hundred or more experienced developers to get this thing off the ground, not a new indie studio like he has. What I'd like to happen is that Bohemia Interactive (the developers of Arma) looks at the police gameplay of the Altis life mod and makes a game around that. Also, as some have already said, a game called 'Emergenyc' is being developed, and looks like a HD version of Emergency 4, so that's one to watch.

I think it's safe to say that the twelve million dollar budget figure was pulled out of thin air.

Well it seems my game isn't being supported here still. I appreciate the feedback though. I won't lie, it's been a really tough road made worse by so much criticism. All in all, I am doing my best to make Police 1013 a reality. This certainly isn't an easy task. I admit back in the day I did go a little spastic due to being trolled. These days I take it in my stride as you can see. I'm a huge fan of LSPDFR and love what's coming out of the community. Love me or hate me, it doesn't really matter but just understand that some comments made in these posts aren't very nice. I am human just like you. Anyway, continued success to all of you and here's hoping for a better day.

Well I wish you luck in your developing venture, I just hope that the promises made will be a reality, and a high quality reality at that. (None of this Enforcer grade bullsh*t)

Thanks SkillfulCorpse we are doing everything possible to build a game that we think people will love. No it won't be anything like Enforcer. That was rushed.!!! We now have a roadmap on our site that clearly explains the path we're taking.

You must have a huge family, or you'd be pricing it in the millions each, but seriously, the police simulation area isn't really that big to make that big of a return.
