IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Please consider the fact that LSPDFR 0.2b is built on RPH 0.20 and DOES NOT support newer versions of RPH yet. Update to RPH 0.23 at your own risk.

Is there a lot involved for LSPDFR to update to newer RH? Or is it because of the animations etc?

Seems to be working fine with current plugins and LSPDFR on Windows 7. One thing to note is that WarnOnPluginLoad switch is now obsolete, and you must have DeveloperMode enabled to seamlessly load 'unverified plugins'.

Regarding the first run setup screen (which you can force to run by holding SHIFT when launching RPH), the plugin selection screen seems a little buggy so I had to manually insert all my plugins I wanted to autostart into startup.rphs after saving the initial setup.

It is ignoring all of my plugins in my current startup.rphs and I can't select any of them, which is why after saving in the above screen you need to go manually insert them all into startup.rphs (unless you want to automatically load everything in your plugins folder, I don't, but that looks like it should work)

Is this working with LSPDFR 2b? I just installed rage5037, and though RPH is working the mod is definitely not!

I don't know why he continues to make it more difficult to load "unverified" plugins on each release? Does he really want to be in control of every mods' release cycle?

We're not going to release an update just because there's an update to RPH.

Well, I can see it from his point of view. It defeats the purpose of having a verification system if you can just enable "Developer Mode" and load any unverified plugins placed into a modified startup file.

He's made the entire process easier now, though. It's really easy for developers to become trusted, and once you've been added as a trusted author, you can add your own DLL's to the list of trusted modules. The newer builds of RPH (v0.23 and up, I believe?) will check the online database for newly verified plugins, so you don't need to wait for a new RPH release every time you want to release a new version of a mod.

For instance, I'm now a trusted developer, and I added the current latest versions of Traffic Control and Keep Calm as verified plugins to the RPH database myself, just a couple of hours ago. If you were to load them with RPH v0.23, it would (should?) recognize them as verified plugins automatically.

Please do not PM me for any kind of technical support.
I unfortunately do not have enough free time to answer every PM that I get. For issues with my plugins, please post in the comments section of the file, or it's forum thread. You'll get a much quicker response from me there than if you send me a PM; I do my best to respond to every question in the comments sections. For API/programming questions, please post them in the API Development forum, so all developers can benefit from the answer as well. Thanks!

Which is great if you, you know. Get verified.

Only took me a day. I applied yesterday, and it was done before I woke up this morning.

As long as you're somewhat known in the community, I don't think its an issue to become verified. As for the issue with loading unverified plugins in v0.23, he fixed the bug with the Settings window in v0.24, which has already been released.
