Yet again rockstar release a crappy release update because now am getting big fps drops everywere was smooth until that update came out.

Anyways dose anybody know what's  new about this patch?

Well, the RPH changelog (v0.21 and newer) says that RPH updates won't be required for small game updates. However, I'm not sure if I understood correctly what it's supposed to mean. Also.. what does this update even do? There was no announcement by R*, which isn't typical. Maybe a hotfix?

Or some more useless anti-modding shit. God knows.

I did not realise this. I thought it was a Social Club update; is it possible to rollback?

and with this, it does work... it just crashes alot more, ive only tried once but the first callout always crashes...

 

Looks like they updated from 393.4 to 440.2. Thank god for backups.

I am pretty sure my game updated when i was looking on twitter and came back to the ready to play or whatever message.

So far no crashes. LSPDFR, callouts, ragehook, policeradio, my addon cars,  the native trainer that comes with scripthook all seem to work so far.

Build 393.4. Online 1.28

 

The only file that they touched according to Beyond Compare is GTAVLauncher.exe and a Social Club Update... so if you have a backup of that, just restore it.

Guys that update is for a DLC i can't see anything about mod patches i still wouldn't update in case.

How do I go about running a previous version of GTA V?  If a game update breaks my mods?

I think I heard something about backing up GTA V and GTA V Launcher then just update the game and drag the old ones in to play on the older version am I right?

FIX FOR ANYONE WITH BROKEN PLUGINS:

1. Download this: http://patches.rockstargames.com/prod/gtav/Launcher_EFIGS/GTA_V_Launcher_1_0_393_2.exe

2. Install

3. Profit

 

This downgrades your launcher, therefore fixing any Ragehook crashes.

Right, but the only thing you need to restore for this update is GTAVLauncher.exe to roll it back.

In order to rollback you backup your GTAV.exe GTAVlauncher.exe and update folder before it updates. After it updates drag those back into the directory and it should prevent it from updating again.

I'm not going near this one... Hell, I ain't even touched V this week.

That's odd, my game updated and I can still play LSPDFR with mods, cars, etc. and Ragehook works fine. (I have the retail version btw)

Indeed. I have done the same. Also if you don't want to update the game, just start steam in offline mode and you can run gta v just fine without updating it.
