That sounds like a ingame time problem. Try changing the day/month/year ingame with the simple trainer to something plausible, like 01/01/2014

Love this mod. It runs a hell of a lot better than LCPDFR. Are you guys going to add more call outs like, bank robberies and drug deals, shoot outs and all the good stuff from Liberty city ? 

I know its still in the early stages, but, responding to grand theft autos and pursuits all the time gets a bit boring. Sorry ( jmo )

Does anyone know if in-game cops now assist us? I know in 0.1e they didn't but I don't know for 0.2.

I'm asking because there's no point in putting "Cops Back on the Beat 2.0" mod if they don't assist you.

Not that I've noticed, no. I don't particularly notice many, if any actual patrol units driving around anyways - I only really find any other signs of Police on the shoulders of certain roads, neither of which have joined in on any pursuits I've been in. 

Cops back on the beat only really amps up the amount of cars patrolling, if anything it adds more ambient life and immersion to the world, so in my opinion is still worth using even if it lacks the fact that neither of them actually help whatsoever. Shame really.

Now that Rage Hook can detect all entities in the world, I'm pretty sure it's possible at least.

Yeah, I hope so. Would be great being pursuing someone and a cop car sees it and joins in the pursuit like they did in LCPDFR 1.1

I have cops back on the beat,  they will assist you if shots are fired, they dont technically know your a cop, or that your even part of the situation, but they just target the guy your shooting at because he has a gun, it goes off native combat behaviour, its just a coincidence that your "helping"

I hope you understand what Im saying aha :)

They wont help you in a persuit, unless shots are fired either, but thats why you have LSPDFR backup options :-p

It actually was because of you that I put this mod because I saw somewhere you posted you had this mod and I thought it could be a good idea to add more ambience to LS. I didn't put the DLC cars as I don't find realistic seeing NASCAR-like cars cruising around like the Redwood stock cars for example.

Thanks for telling me what they do and yes I understand what you're saying. That will do for now, until LSPDFR can make in-game cops know we're there lol

By the way, I also put SAHP cars that's on the Law Enforcement Improvements 1.9, do you have any idea how I could make them appear cruising around in the highways like the Sheriff cars? I can only make them spawn through RPH but only for me, not any other cop :(

It is possible now, yes, but there's quite a lot of planning that has to go into the implementation of such a system.

Yeah, I know it wasn't implemented by LSPDFR yet, but at least they'll work on it now that RPH allows to do that.

So it's possible to make SAHP cars appear? Their names are Hwaycar (Buffalo) and Hwaycar2 (Stanier). I also want them to spawn with correct SAHP cops, not random peds.

EDIT: Is this all I have to do on the popgroups.ymt? Because these SAHP are added vehicles, they don't replace any vehicle at all, I don't know if the game will recognize them. I hope so though.
