How exactly do you ask for peds id? I get it to work sometimes but most of the time they just get mad and start to fight before the promp to investigate appears. what is the proper action?

I accidently knocked the ped out while trying to ask for ID. xD

If the typing plates in thing is permanent, hopefully there will be a way to kill keypresses registering in the background. Currently, if you type a plate in with an F, you get out of the car, and other types of weird stuff.

that was my issue as well, just loaded the game again and it no longer did any back ground actions

He says "Kifflom!", which is what the storymode (Michael) scientology-esque 'Epsilon' Church members say as a greeting/farewell. It is either a hilarious bug or a hilariously obvious (borderline annoying) easter-egg.

1. Can't flag civilians when I press shift

2. Holding E to identify a perp does nothing.

3. The police computer is great, but it interferes with the siren/honk, can we change this?

I agree with all 3 of these points except I do get callouts. For some reason, holding E to stop a perp on foot does nothing at all. I think the police computer key should be changed since the lights/siren always turn on when you press it. Also, pressing Shift to pull someone over does not always work, but sometimes it does.

Was able to actually get a call out after all earlier, but now have more issues, made a separate thread for that though.

 

Can someone add the ESCORT option like the police mod ? Wanna drive through the hood with a unit or two behind me

Also I need a partner !!! These I'd think would be easy to add to LSPDFR, no idea why its devs haven't added yet

Not only you for me all peds stop and gunfights with gangs !! dont know why ?

Finally got it working! I had created a copy of my game on my desktop so that I would have a clean copy in the steam folder in case one of the mods messed it up. For some reason Rage just wont load that way. Once I installed it into the original file under the Steam folder, everything started working like a charm! Does that make sense?

 

As far as the update itself, super fun! I can't wait to see what you guys do next, it seems like we're going to quickly eclipse where LCPDFR left off.Thanks!

I'm really having an enjoyable experience so far with 0.2, I just had a 10-15 minute sheriff pursuit throughout Los Santos County with other units including air support and the AI has been improved a lot from what I've seen. The communication between the officers and dispatch on the radio really does add that extra immersion in which is in my opinion, the icing on the cake. I really can't wait to see more call-outs created by other people and hopefully world events if possible; in future versions.

Having the same problem, when in pursuit with suspect, i aproach with car, and just press shift, and my game crashes also when i leave car and immediately press shift to run it crashes game too, probably i don't exit car fully before start to run, other things works perfectly! :) Nice work on LSPD 0.2

EDIT: Okay, so what i found that i always crash when i press shift, even no car near, or in pursuit.

Sooo...... Im crashing every time loading into the game with ragehook, am I not just supposed to overwrite everything with the new LSPDFR? or do i gotta clean everything out and restart fresh?

When i press shift to start a pull over it crashes my game. Dont know if its just me or if other people are having this to, other than that its looking great!
