question, will there be updates for ai improvements to the officers? they're much better than gta 4, but they keep ramming me off the road and shooting civilians that ram them on the highway, is it possible to improve the ai?

GreenMan Gaming had a 25% off site-wide coupon code, which is what I used to buy GTA V. Came out to like $45. It wasn't 50% off, but better than no discount at all.

It amazes me how R* just released an update cracking down on modifications, LSPDFR was hit the most and they fixed everything within a day. These are truly skilled individuals.

yea thats what im worried about so as soon as i get 0.2 working im just gona take my internet out each time i launch Gta V and ill just update when sam an the team fix that (i have retail version btw so no auto update)

 

and on a other note, A huge thank you to the whole G17 team i have been playing sense gta IV days and this mod is amazing still cant get over how well 0.1 has been running for a first release, also to the community of modders taking LCPDFR and LSPDFR to the next level .If the updates to gta continue to be a problem maybe its time for G17 team to make a standalone version hahahaha   

Well to start, yes you need to at least play the story and get to your house. As of the ill gotten gains 2 update, lspdfr isn't working and as you see above is in the process of being updated and fixed. I have heard people talking about installing 1.0e and using the most recent ragehook from their website and getting it to work. Im still on the patch before this (until 0.2) so i cant confirm. Surely you have other games to play on that beast while you wait?

How are you able to stay on the older version?

On my computer, if GTA V hasn't connected to the internet for more then a week it will say that it needs to connect to activate. It won't let me play the game until I let it connect to the internet. I have seen some posts about GTA needing to "phone" home periodically.

Does anyone else have there game ask them to connect to the internet after it hasn't in a while or it wont let you play?

That's kinda rude don't you think? I mean honestly, the team here is pretty tight nit and really work hard on the mod for hours every day. Posting something like this won't make them go any quicker, and instead of showing appreciation it seems like a sense of entitlement.

The team could have given up at any point due to Rockstar's attempts at prohibiting mods, or at least making them harder to make, but they're still here producing content for the players here, including yourself. Be patient, because I know from first hand experience the one thing that developers hate the most is being rushed and not appreciated.

Honestly I feel as if some people here are putting too much stress on the dev team. I mean I don't know for sure but I have a feeling the team is really stressed out right now because we may be putting too much pressure on them. We should just do what we would have done to keep busy before LSPDFR. Let's not forget about LCPDFR. If may be buggy and unstable but it's a classic
