The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Flagged!

Recommended Posts

I was flagged by Rockstar social Club for using LSPDFR in story mode, is there something I didn't do right? or they're just retarded?

And I thought they weren't going to do anything to single player modders...... You don't have any other mods do you? Cracked scripthookv or something? If all you have is Rage and LSPDFR, I would talk to Rockstar immediately.

they really need to get there priorities straight. I have been using cracked scripthookv and a trainer online just to have gun with my friends, and I haven't got flagged. Yet you, playing single player, do get flagged? That is just stupid.

Flagging can sometimes be delayed. e.g. if you played online last month for mods, the flag could be for that.

I really doubt this is due to single player modding, to be honest.

It's not for singleplayer modding. As we've advised in the past: Remove anything that has to do with mods from your game directory before going Online to be on the safe side.

Nicedude80 it don't matter they can still ban you for using mods in single player & online maybe the only reason he as been banned because he might have been such abuse with the hacks online. Rockstar are only going to turn around and say nope you'r not getting unbanned because you was using modifications.

Then again i have been using alot of mods online and on single player and not been flagged up this only can really happen if you being silly with mods online.

LOL i been using hacks & everything online my ass is not banned.

You might have been using other scripts online and making it so obvious

Your, quote unquote, ass might already be flagged and you're in the pipeline to be banned. This topic is for helping the OP figuring out why he was flagged, not bragging about your hacking! :)

Well why do you think he was flagged? he wouldn't have got banned for no reason

Anyways if you really was banned for no reason (speak to rockstar)

Having scripts / third-party files in your game directory is one of the ways to get flagged - Rockstar actively scans our game directories when going online.

Rockstar themselves, and from looking at the GTA V Code they have systems that systematically search our directories.

LMS confirmed it to me. R* scans your directory for .dlls being loaded into the game.

About modified game files, I could imagine they check the MD5s :)

Did some research i see it's true they scan game directory files but if he as been banned for using no modifications and only used them in single player that means using LSPDFR can also get you banned for using it in single player but didn't rockstar allow people to use modifications only at single player?

By the way am not being a asshole.

I really wonder how he got flagged.

You do not get banned for Singleplayer mods, you might get banned for bringing mods into GTA Online - Active or not.

They already explained that R* scans the files when you go online, it's no secret that's what R* does.  He probably went online with modded .dlls and that's how he got banned.  You should only go online after removing the .dll files that should not be there.  They will get around to banning you in time my friend if you don't.

I made a copy of the whole game directory without mods.  WHen I do online, I just switch out the modded game with the un-modded one (change the root folder name back to "grand theft auto v").

Good day!

As a general advice for everyone that likes to mod SP and play online.

Use the /mods/ folder that comes with OpenIV. That way you don't have to worry about modified files, since you can just disable your ASI Loader for online and that in turn prevents the modified game files from being loaded.

Well, I doubt they're looking for stuff like RAGE Plugin Hook and LSPDFR, both of which do not allow themselves to be used in mutliplayer.

They are most likely looking for modified versions of the ScriptHook, or DirectX DLLs used to override the ScriptHook's protections.

People still think they get flagged for singleplayer mods? It's really unfortunate someone started that rumor, paranoia for it is off the charts.

We really don't have any proof proving otherwise - Or do you? You may get flagged for bringing modified game files into GTA Online, regardless if their active or not.

So wait, just to be on the safe side...what would be considered "acceptable" for Rockstar? I have a 'mods' folder within my root directory, this contains anything that modifies either game files like the dispatch.meta files and popcycle.dat files to texture modifications for Police cars. Obviously I have a Plugins folder for the .dll mods, (LSPDFR, VehicleSearch, PoliceRadio, etc), plus in the root directory I have the asiloader and scripthooks too which only a couple mods use/need, such as Native Trainer (native no pun intended, to scripthook), as well as Ragehook.

Would removing the .dll files and or plugins folder be a necessary action as well as the RageHook exe and scripthook files in the root directory also be a good idea? Unfortunately until everything gets updated I'm plagued with having to play vanilla GTA Online in the meantime - which isn't bad, but doesn't really keep me entertained or have that fun factor LSPDFR does.

All you have to do is copy the root directory of a clean install folder (Grand Theft Auto V folder) and everything in it.  Then you can switch between the two installs by simply changing the folder name.  Modded game and clean install game for online. Hope that makes sense...

Copy the clean install folder then past it somewhere.  Rename the copy folder to something like "Grand Theft Auto - Clean".  When you want to play online, just rename or move the modded game folder, and rename the "Grand Theft Auto - Clean" folder back to "Grand Theft Auto V".  This way you have a back up and clean copy to go to for online.

Works fine for me.
