FinKone, me and iTitan were thinking of an idea for your plugin.

As your plugin basically does what the Police Helper did for LCPDFR, we would ask you if it was possible to add a bait car option?

That would be pretty cool considering the amount of fast, good-looking cars GTA V got and the huge map it has that could lead to crazy high speed chases.

Give us some feedback stating your opinion please, because if this could be added, it would be an extraordinary option!

I think he may ve waiting for the API to be released so he can plugin to lspdfr so it works well togeather. But it is a good idea.

Might as well add a traffic stop assistance callout like in LCPDFR?

Straysify was working on it for his callouts but he cut it off because he said that was FinKone's thing. He probably assumed FinKone would do traffic stop assistance because he done it for LCPDFR and so there was no reason for him not to do it for LSPDFR.

Either way Straysify had them done but he deleted them because of what I mentioned above. Let's hope FinKone can talk to him about this to decide if any of them will make this callout or not.

For those interested - K9 backup is coming along well.  The unit now has logic to respond to the driver depending on what they do, and responds accordingly.  That was a fun one.

Still working on getting them to the scene in a better manner, but this is improving constantly.

 

Its more or less a patrol - but I think I call K9 twice, and show some of the OLD but glaring issues that have been correctly.

Wow great news FinKone!

The traffic stop assistance callout would be great, not only us asking for a backup officer, but an officer performing a traffic stop asking for our backup as well! A bit like the one you did to LCPDFR where you had to assist an officer. I hope you can also manage to put bait car!

Maybe you and Straysify can work on callouts together so that we don't get repeated callouts and maybe things will get done and tested faster. This is just a suggestion though.

And wow K9 looks amazing! I think we all look forward to your updates to Police Radio and the future callouts as well!

The K9, does the dog have restraint if you are going for a successful arrest or will the dog just tear up the individual mindlessly? I'd hate to get mulled by a dog or the suspect rather. I still hope you will add EMS to the radio because that is still a real function, I've had to call EMS for someone involved in a crash, so confusing why we can't do that here but just wait for the lab-coat peeps to show to take a body away.

Another idea is to call in a roadblock ahead of a car chase, I always hate it when I have to chase someone down the interstate for half of the county and cross jurisdictions just to catch up to someone.

I'm pretty sure that when FinKone ties this with LSPDFR this won't be an issue.

Currently I have no way to detect the status of a person in question, so I need to wait until LSPDFR 0.2 drops with the LSPDFR API so I can monitor the situation and make the AI I've created act accordingly.

I hope you can tie your amazing plugin to LSPDFR as soon as possible, especially the database/plate checker obviously xD

By the way man, I'd suggest you put the open radio control with the RControlKey for example, because when you type on the police computer and you type the letter C, the police radio appears.

Yea this pissed me off right away.  I'm going to check if I can detect if the computer is open, and if so disable Police Radio for that time frame, rather then making people change around keys.  If I cannot, the last resort is to make people change around keys... :X

Once I get to sit down and play with the API - I'll know soon.  I know they've had stuff listed in there but I just didn't get to test it out yet, if that makes sense.  I should know something tomorrow once I get some free time.

Yeah I changed the radio key and that solved the issue but if you'll try to work on something to avoid people do that, that is very kind of you :) For example, I had to change ALL keys of LukeD's MoreControlV as I was always locking/unlocking, flashing hazards or indicators when I typed something on the police computer. I also hope he updates his plugin as sometimes it crashes with the new RPH version. I left a comment on his plugin WIP page of this forums section.

And thanks for wanting to make everything tied with LSPDFR :D I hope Stray can also make it so that his Speed Radar flags tie with LSPDFR too! Let's hope the new API allows you guys to do that and of course, the amazing planned callouts!

 

Little bug I believe. The new version spawns the trashbag where the body was. But when the person was in a car, the spawning of the body bag seems to make the vehicle dissapear (and no bag appears). Never noticed this in the old version.
