Hey Fin,

In my quest to help out in finding animations for various actions, what program or utility do you use to screen them? Is it openIV? I appreciate it takes time to sort through them and as i have a bit thought i would take a look... if it helps!

I just kind of wrote a quick script that lets me add a list of animations using a decompiled list I've had for awhile now, and it will run them.  I'll search the list for stuff I'm interested in, "Kneeling" for example, and everything that pops up, I throw into the list, then in game I hit the play button, and it goes thru each animation every 3 seconds it starts the next one until done.  It prints them out on the screen so I can just take note of what I figured was the most suitable one.

Np man.  Wanted to have more in the first release but its going ok.  Gotta make tow spawning a bit better, it getting there.

 

Lets not turn my thread into a debate about how I should release these mods guys.  There are still going to be bugs in the release, because coding something like this, things are bound to go wrong, so all those that want bugs - you'll have them.  Just less of them. ;)

It's not polite to spam the same question again, I know, but I'm so curious how you handled ambulance.

If the person dies, it ties out easy.  If they live I'm debating what route I need to take, in terms of giving the player the ability to either call EMS, or how I should handle it from there.... hmm.  We'll see.

You made ped last longer or... They usually die instantly, or after a few seconds. 

What a great addon FinKone! It works great, but I was gonna ask you if you could make the radio spawn key be, for example, the left control key (LControlKey) because whenever I press C, I look back (since C is the default looking back cam)?

Also, are you thinking of adding a Breathalyzer? That would be awesome for traffic stops :D

Oh lol thank man, but I wanted to avoid using ScriptHookV, it causes conflict with RAGE Hook, that's why I asked if FinKone would add a Breathalyzer on his mod or not :)

Maybe he can ask the author for his permission to try and port this into his mod using RAGE Hook.

Yeah it's great someone is working on this and thanks for trying to get him move over to RageHook because as you said, it's more powerful and at least we avoid possible conflicts between RageHook and ScriptHookV.

For those not tracking, I added tow to(FIXED IT DCP!) Police Radio, and Tackle also - read the docs that come with it to find out how to use it.  Currently for this version tackle is not changeable, it was however stable, so I wanted to include it.

How do you pull up the radio? whats the keybinding on PC /Xbox 360 controller?

when i press C it just activates the back camera.. i have loaded the plugin so it shouldn't be the issue :(

Push the left DPad and it will pop up... x selects things

I know but what you do is very important too! It's like a race car driver and his engineer: sure the engineer tunes the car up, but it's the driver who gives him the feedback to improve or fix things!
