Great Work on 1.1 but the only problem is that when in multiplayer it is even more unstable :/

Yes, you host a game as usual. Then, if LCPDFR detected your networking session, it will display a helpbox. If not, reload scripts. Same for client.

 

This seemed to happen, net_connect doesnt work for my other friend joining, so i had him join normally over live. However, that way doesn't seem to work. He can't see any callouts I get and he can't join in on any pursuits.

 

I had the helpbox come up telling me I could show my IP with net_showip but once again net_connect isnt working for the other person to join. Joining normally usually causes issues or crashing within the first 10 minutes, and he can't see any callouts I get. Its like we're running two seperate copies or scripts at the same time.

As I wrote in the initial post, the LCPDFR networking connection is completely independent of GTA IV (since we can't just hijack it). So both of you have to join the same game. If LCPDFR detects your networking session, it will look up the host IP from our server and try to connect to it. If that doesn't work, net_connect can be used as a fallback. If that fails to establish a connection, it's a firewall and/or port forwarding issue as at that point it bypasses all of our services and directly connects over the internet.

You do not need to be connected to the internet to use any version of LCPDFR. If you wish to play online or upload your crime stats however, you need to be connected to the internet.

For those of you having problems with connecting to each other in MP and a few other minor problems, a small fix has been released. Simply redownload. No need to update when you don't run into any problems.

There are plenty screenshots from GTA IV and EFLC in our gallery. As for screenshots of LCPDFR, the UI is the same as from LCPDFR 1.0. This exist in the gallery too, of course.

Good work guys.. I try (the first release) in mp and i crash alot/ my friends cannot connect..ect..ect.. i will give a try on the new one! thank you for all your time and the work you put in the scripts!

 

And people remember that when your game crash and you are using 12039482 differents scripts and 56 thousand cars mods don't blame LCPD-FR
