Yeah I had this like 5 years ago and was on for like 2 weeks. If you don't start treating it then it will stay even longer and trust me it is annoying. Visit a pharmacist and ask for a special type of cream you can put on daily. I used one and worked perfectly but can't remember the name. :s

Cotton wool moistened with alcohol can help you to reduce the amount of liquid in the blister, ointment with acyclovir is helpful in an early stage of an illness. The total duration is like 7-14 days, depends on if it's your first time, other infections etc.

my sister uses Abreva Extra Strength stuff. She said it works great. She has had one for years and thats all she uses.

Salt seems to work, but it also has a side effect of hurting like a sonofabitch. Tea bags I heard too... (phrasing?)  Also. there is an old wives tale about rubbing a gold ring on it. Tea bag was the best for me (PHRASING!) as it kept pressure on it so it didnt hurt.

It is clear and looks like in the middle it's air inside of the sore or white puss. Then like 2 small bumps beside the main cold sore. Ty for the help guys
