Hi Sgt.Kanyo, what handling line would you recommend for use with the Driver: San Francisco derived Chevrolet Impala (2011?)?

Cheers.

Kanyo, could we have a more "drivable" handling for Kevin's Caprice? I just chose it as my vehicle in the last play session and the damn thing was all-over the place. But all hell breaks loose in pursuits. The street racers I was pursuing were driving safe like pro cops while my Caprice behaved like it was being driven by an amateur drifter. Seriously, while at slightly higher speeds than normal, its like 90% drift and 10% driving.

UPDATE: Alright, now this is just ridiculous. I did a test run at Montauk Ave, Outlook (BKR) roundabout and the car did two perfect donuts around that memorial. Revving the engine from stationary results in burnouts. Seriously, I should've checked while approving the Caprice batch for service in my department. Its fit for illegal street races but I can't say the same for enforcing the law or catching criminals.

Really it only depends on what exact mod you are using. I'd suggest trying the one optimized for EVI's impala, since my impala is considerably lowered in zmod (which means it needs a lot lower center of mass then other cars).

1696.0 0.33 85 0.0 0.15 -0.25 1.0 4 0.16 1.0 225 0.45 0.56 0.6 33.0 1.6 1.3 11.0 0.11 0.48 2.7 1.8 1.8 0.1 -0.07 0.00 0.52 1.0 1.0 2.2 1.5 0.0 25000 400010 00000010 0

If it acts unrealistic / buggy, let me know and also link me the impala you are using.

I'll see what I can do, but I remember the only way I could keep the 0-100 time and 0-200 time realistic was by reducing the grip.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I have tested your supplied handling line extensively and it works wonders. The suspension is firm and unlike the older handling line I was using, this one stays under control more (no sliding out from the rear).

For reference I am using this model;

Cheers.

p.s. does EVI have any other aliases?

I'm glad it works well. Yeah FWD cars could be more stable, they tend to understeer instead of oversteer.

And yeah he went by the name of yakadafi, then changed to EVI. I think he even changed name from EVI to something else once, but you can find him as EVI on lcpdfr.

Also the Chevy Caprice handling has been updated on the first page.

Thanks a ton. I'll check it out soon as I get home.

I did make a Ram handling before, I just have no idea for what car mod it is for. I'm pretty sure not for the tow truck so I won't link it here. Can you link me the tow truck, so I can start working on it?

Question , I haven't played in like 2 months, maybe longer, got my game where I want it, problem now is the handling.dat, I post here because you are most likely the expert advice on handling lines, I used your 2003 CVPI handling line, just copy/pasted it from here to the .dat, problem is, it crashes everytime I boot up the game, I kept the backup & switched them out to see if that WAS the problem & it is, been a long time since I had to screw around with as I just generally take the .dat from other installs, any ideas of what I could be doing wrong?

Make sure you press enter after pasting the new handling line. Sometimes it pastes and moves the next handling line up, so you have to press enter to move it back down.

"Work and ideas get stolen, then you keep moving on doing your thing."

I gave that a try but didn't work, this is the issue I'm having, my luck, it's a simple fix I over looked.

do you have a proper handling line for the lafd ford e450 that you released? the one provided doesn't work as it makes the vehicle bouncy and other handling lines ive tried just makes it flip over
