What do you want to see more of in LCPDFR?

Whats about an option that you can choose your own LCPD:FR computer livery? Usually you have an LCPD logo in the left top of the computer it would be cool if can change that to a AST logo or LAPD logo or erverything that you want to have a personal police computer.

Why don't you take a sneak peek on my Channel "KitoGaming!"

I would probably say rolling roadblocks for when a truck has lost its load or when there is debris on the road. And maybe a choice for what police car you want for backup (e.g. Police, Police2, Noose). Maybe also MVA's on the freeways and debris on the road.

If it had to be in a priority: Stability first. Make the game as stable as possible so we don't have to deal with a lot of shit :3

Then, Maybe some sort of...optimization. To my understanding big mods may cause extra lag, and until I actually get a gaming computer that will annoy me :c. Even though I still can't play gta 4 on this craptop :3.

And finally add more callouts. PLEASE :D?

  • 4 weeks later...

I will be grateful if I could have my back-up officers not disappear during a gunfight on hardcore mode.

When I see a cruiser on its way to help me im like "hell yeah". Then I continue in the gun fight. 10 seconds later, when I turn to see my back up officers, the car is there (stopped with doors open). The officers are gone... Im the only one fighting the criminals. The next moment I was shot in the head and died. :(

Check out my LCPD videos

1. There should be levels of crime.

A pick-pocket or a shoplift should be really low level, you can arrest them and take them to the police station in your cruiser or call for someone else to take them.

A mass-murder/terrorist should require ESU/FBI (NOoSE/FIB) assistance and you shouldn't make the arrest (unless you're what I suggest below), once the person is in custody, he should be taken to a armoured NOoSE truck and be escorted by NOoSE and FBI (FIB), you should assist this armoured convoy with your cruiser. The suspect will be taken to Alderney state prison, where he'll stay to await trial (Ofc, the trial bit isn't included, as that'll just get boring). Sometimes friends of the person in custody will try to intercept the convoy, you must take them out. (Most cases you'll have a Annihilator over head as backup)

2. Ranks and points, so you have something to gain and aim for,

with a higher rank you have more powers, like being able to control a group of police officers rather then just being with your partner, actually a scripted link between you and other LCPD officers, higher the rank, the more you can control a situation. If you do not command for LCPD officers to move in on a shootout, they'll stay put BUT in cover, and you can command them to move in on your command when you think the time is right (Backup arrived?). When you're lower rank there will be some police staff of a higher rank at a incident, where the radio chat appears on the screen, perhaps have them tell YOU commands?

E.g

Sgt.Yelps: Unit. - /Officer.-  [You can input your name/unit in the Ini.), go over to the car on the far right and support my men, we're moving in.

- By following orders, you'll get more LCPD:FR points and be able to rank up. By dis-obeying orders you may get penalties and not rank up, all this will show on your LCPD:FR stats on the forum.

- At a certain rank you can join NOoSE (Optional)

- You get points for making arrests, taking down criminals, helping the public and being a good cop (Different situations may vary in points, such as arresting a highly wanted criminal, this would mean more points)

3. MVAs/RTCs - Simply, a script that commands one or more vehicles to be 'crashed' over the road, engine damaged, and the patient to be either lying on the ground or in the car 'stuck', perhaps enable the cars to be damaged (Maybe hard to script?). If a patient is stuck in a car, then you can call FDLC and they'll 'take' the patient out the car, you may give CPR to those on the ground but you MUST call EMS.

4. Partner selection - Simply able to toggle through your partner just the way you do with your uniform.

Or at least something like what I suggested above.

Thanks for reading ;)

P.S Sorry for any errors, I just scribbled this down as I thought, and it's 7:40AM.

Like everyone else has said, optimization is my biggest concern, although 0.95 RC2 runs AMAZING and I hardly ever have had a crash from the actual LCPDFR mod (maybe once or twice in all the times I've played it).

But as far as features:

-Partner uniform customization

-Integration of some elements of police helper like towing trucks or road blocks for hot pursuits

-Ability to customize likelihood of situations (eg. a pedestrian running from a traffic stop)

I honestly can't really think of any amazing new features the mod itself is pretty great :/

It would be awesome if people refuse to pay a ticket for traffic stop of something like that and when they step out of the car they acually get they hand on their head like when you arrest them.

More UK type calls e.g. car chases, stabbings, car crashes, officers needing backup, drug raids and maybe suspects can use the tube trains to try and escape and you can dispatch units to other stations to stop then from running.

I don't really want to see any terrorist calls to be honest...terror means fear so they would be called fearist....but anyway I doubt there will be any new callouts anyways since they said they are focusing on other aspects of it which is nice but at the same time I want more variety of calls it gets boring doing the same ol call outs even with bravehearts script sometimes I will get bored to the point of just driving around the city at a fast pace or just cruising

Sorry if this has been suggested before, but I'd love to see an in-depth "admin" menu. Right now we have the force callout, but we don't get to pick which one. It would be nice to choose from a list of all the callouts and even some street occurrences (i.e. pursuit, mugging, shooting, etc).

Probably more pursuits, wide-range of calls, and more call-outs. I remember in 0.91 there was calls EVERY second.

I like this idea.

Check out my instagram: 'lspdfr_scenery' for cool LSPDFR pictures.

Sorry if this has been said before, but bigger incidents or missions would be nice. for example a hostage in a house or a bank and you have to negotiate. Or a bank robbery and they can get away before you are arriving the crime scene. You get a detailed description of suspects and car and you can make checkpoints on bigger streets to search for them.

Best regards,

Roman

I'd love to see police lights actually serve a purpose other than to look nice.

well i'd probably suggest escort calls ( like you are escorting a high person with other fellow officers ) and criminals would come and attack you.

and it cane be a long escort or short one ! like:

NOoSE Patrol ( player ) < FIB/FBI Car < Police 1 < High Valued Person ( HVP ) < Police 2 < FBI/FIB Car < NOoSE Patrol

this is a short version... , we can make it large...

more high adrenaline call outs

and the ability to execute search and arrest warrants from the police laptop and the ability to issue BOLOs
