Stephen A. Smith Suspended From ESPN's First Take For Telling Women Not To Provoke Men To Hit Them

Recommended Posts

His opinion, he's entitled to it, if that's how he feels, he shouldn't have been fired for it, too many employers can dictate to you on how to express an opinion, my opinion? those employers can fuck right off.

The issue is that he is representing ESPN. People will take it as ESPN's opinion, not his personal opinion. For example, since I have the red name and LCPDFR community team tag now, I have to be especially careful when expressing my opinion, because I'm now representing the community team. Even though the opinion expressed isn't the same as everyone else's, it can and will be taken that way.

This man was fired for giving his opinion on a news story.

Thoughts?

He speaks for ESPN, as mentioned above. And he suggested that hitting people is okay if they make you mad. I don't know why you'd find punishment for that remark unjust.

If he'd said it about men provoking someone, there would be not a single peep.

Telling women what to do is verboten in Western society, even if it's discouraging harmful behavior, to self or others. Making them face the consequences of their actions even more so.

Fuckin' liberal pusses.

Oh, like the opposite are any better. In fact, they tend to be even worse.
