Get ready for an image dump of massive proportions, straight from the 2015 NY International Auto Show! The police museum really stepped it up this year in terms of their auto show display.  I had to divide this post up into several since I reached the image limit for a single post.

EDIT : The forum software keeps trying to merge subsequent posts, but cannot since there are so many images.  If someone were to post below me, I could post after them and finish up with the images.  There are some good ones that need to be gotten to!

1989 Chevrolet Caprice (This was the same P.O. Eddie Byrne tribute car from last year, but it was in a position where I could take better photos.  Further information on the Byrne case; https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B62-DiJkyiieWnlueUU2ZzhxZHc/view?usp=sharing)

(Eddie Byrne was from the 103PCT, but this RMP is marked for the 75PCT, matching the collar brass of the jacket hanging in the window.  I suppose that the person that restored the car was from the 75.  Eddie Byrne was driving an '87 Caprice with a Mark VII siren in it, slightly different than this '89 Caprice with a Federal Signal PA300 siren.  His '87 was also the 103PCT's K9 car.)

(Sorry about the blurriness, again.  These Furys had Signal Stat VI sirens in them, and they're pretty damn rare.  Someone on elightbars that has one said that he found one almost three decades ago and has been searching for another since, but has yet to find a second one.  He pondered that most of them probably got junked since they were large and didn't fit well into the newer RMPs that came after this Fury (and the C-body Gran Fury at the time).)

Pretty cool pictures! Few more of the Portland Police Bureau. Chevrolet Nova and Dodge Diplomat with the older paintjob and 1986 Chevrolet Caprice with the late 1980's paint job.

Nassau County Police Department truck (does anyone know which brand/model is it?)

Nassau County Police Department Plymouth Volare.

That truck up top resembles some of Peterbilt's older trucks, but I think it's purpose-made on that chassis.  The doors are especially telling; they look relatively vintage!

That looks like a Dual Comm on top of the Volare, with some alley-facing spotlights.  Gotta love those mopar steelies too!

After some research, I believe it could be a White Motor Company truck actually.

Well, the guy whose post I mentioned earlier referred to it as "GMC-White truck". Now I found out that at some point GMC trucks and White trucks were merged by their owner Volvo, so this maybe GMC-White truck indeed.

By the time this truck was made, the company was simply the White Motor Company. It wasn't until, if I am not mistaken, the late 1970's or early 1980's when the White Motor Co. began merging with other companies till the White-GMC was created in the late 1980's. It can be kind of misleading.
