Just a quick question... can I use the config file (LCPDFR.ini) from 1.0b in 1.0c?  As in, can I not overwrite the config file?  Or is there a bunch of new settings in the 1.0c .ini?

As far as I know, you can use the old one.

I wished the checkpoint would be like this:

 - If car comes and stops you can decide to stop or to wave through with F9 and F10 for example

 - If you stop a car it's like with a pulled over car on the street. You can go next to the drivers windows and handle this situation. Otherwise I always have to use PoliceHelper or have to aim with a weapon to get him out.

 - I don't like it if also the cars on the other side are stopping. In SP i can't handle that much traffic. But maybe the cars will crash then...

So I just updated from 1.0b to 1.0c, and, when using the Diagnostic Tool as an Administrator to reconfigure the .ini file, I can't link my LCPDFR.com account. I have checked both the username and password several times, made sure I can connect to the internet, and still am getting an error stating that my credentials are incorrect. Until today, I haven't had an internet connection, so this is the first time I've tried to attempt a login to LCPDFR. Is there something that I'm doing incorrectly?

The log file doesn't show an error, everything works fine for me:

This is a thread for 1.0c, not 0.95RC2. There seems to be issues with it at the moment anyway, I am sure  can answer if he has time :) 

I think it's working for 1.0c, at least I'm getting a connection, although no idea if it's actually updating/archiving the stats.  I notice it does show network connection:false, so I think I'm connecting but the server is not functioning (just a guess).

LCPDFR 1.0c hasn't crashed once during a pursuit for me, nor have I had any problems with the taser.

Sounds like a personal problem to me.

I never said my game hasn't crashed. I said during pursuits, and the tazer, for me, works perfectly fine. And yes, there is A LOT of people out there who have very few issues. It all depends on computer specs, how many scripts and other shit you're using. So sorry I'm not having any problems just 'cause your ignorant ass can't get it working. If you have a problem, research it. I've hardly asked for help and those instance when I have, I've managed to figure the problem out myself. This whole mod is a continuous work in progress. If you're going to continue to bitch about it "not working" then uninstall it and play regular GTA IV.

And just as I said in the last thread where you started bashing the mod and other members, knock of the attitude. Most people are able to solve their issues just fine and there are a lot of people being able to play the mod that never even needs to create a support topic.

Everything works fine in 0.95 but now theres big red letters at the bottom that never go away about a new version being availible and it's distracting. I'm assuming you put that there to bug the shit out of people and get them to beta test, er, I mean play, 1.0 for you....

Nah, we want people that know how to install a game properly and can actually provide us with useful information to test, that's why we have a very small team of beta testers.

I completely agree, likewise, people only have so much patience and time.

As I've said before, the majority of the LCPDFR userbase is now using 1.0 and are not having issues. We can't get it right for all systems and setups but we certainly do for the majority of them.
