So funny. So you do the "interrogation" by tazing the guy then doing a takedown with the baton?

You don't have to tase them, you can just take them down with the baton. It's more fun tasing them first though, lol.

I got a beta invite a few days ago, just installing it now. I'll let you know how it is since I did a lengthy Battlefield 4 review. I'm thinking it will be the same, but with smaller maps and tasers. I have no idea how the rank structure is going to work since both police departments and criminal organizations have only a hand full of ranks to them.

The animations of the taser and baton look absolutely terrible and the sounds are equally bad. I hope the finished product is better.

Keep in mind the game is in closed beta and a very early one at that. The game isn't set to come out until the end of the year so the devs have plenty of time to fix the minor stuff. I'm very curious to see how Hardline goes because I honestly think it has a lot of potential in the Battlefield series.

Yeah I agree the animations are terrible for taser and takedowns. The worst part, in my opinion, is that criminals can replicate the takedown technique and also be given the "interrogate" option! What on earth would a criminal want to interrogate a cop about in a middle of a bank heist?!

Maybe where the other cops are, and what their plans are? Like "where are you guys gonna breach from?" I dunno. I agree that it's a little lame, but you have to balance the game somehow. It's a little unfair for the cops to be able to do a takedown and see people on the map and the crims can't.

Yeah ok I see your point, but playing the beta, it sounds like, or maybe it's just me, that both criminals or cops use the same voice and questions. Maybe they could change it up a little?

I tried it out on the beta. It really isn't anything impressive, especially compared to Battlefield 3. I feel like Battlefield has turned into another Call of Duty, but with an even farther fetched ridiculous idea.
