What's your favorite siren?

Featured Replies

This is a topic for discussing your favorite siren, or sirens. My top two is the Whelen 295 and the Federal Signal Touchmaster Delta

The ones with the Touchmaster-style wail, and Powercall ones.

I'm using a 295-SL100, combines both into one.

My personal inbox is not the support forum. I don't mind helping  you with your issues, but you are responsible for your research.  I am not a page in a manual, Google, or the forum search function - look through all three before asking.

Probably my favourite is the Premier Hazard siren, Which is used by the Australian police force.. and i think the UK uses it aswell.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

My all time favorite is the Federal Signal PA300 siren. Still used today in many cars. I love the Yelp on it especially. It has three primary tones activated by a knob: Wail, Yelp, and Hi-Lo. It is an extremely atractive Hi-Lo and the entire siren is just amazing to hear when clearing traffic and responding code 3. Second to that is the Federal Signal Smart Siren, and then the Federal Signal Touchmaster Delta. I lean towards Federal Signal products, as you can see.

As for my favourite sirens, they're the following: Federal Signal Smart Siren & Federal Signal SS2000SS

Any chance you have a link for the SS2000SS? I can't seem to find a quality one anywhere...
