The police in GTA games are anything *but* innocent. The LCPD has a picture of police brutality on their uniform.

 

Sure but cops in general, mein good sir. Besides, perhaps even some of the GTA cops are good! M_Y_COP_BLACK_01 is a great example of professionalism!

I don't think children should be that big of a problem. I don't get the morality issue neither.

 

Why are Children "too innocent" to run over, but a loving husband or a poor german immigrant (Hey wie gehts Julien?) or Animals (GTAV) aren't?

Maybe there could be somekind of compromise. Maybe put children only in places where it would make sence. Schools and punish the player for killing them.

It's not like R* gonna make you slaughter a whole bunch of Kids in a Classroom. Children would just push the Atmosphere (in my opinion) Thats all.

 

Don't get me wrong. I can live without 'em but it would be a nice thing to see Schools n stuff actually beeing populated with kids.

How the hell did this go from having kids in GTA to killing bambi.. totally unrelated, killing Bambi is legal in different seasons, when I go hunting in V & I can't shoot one of them damn deer I mow them down..

 

On a side note: Most newer games by Bethesda Softworks had children, you could talk to them, but you couldn't harm them.. although, there was a mod in Skyrim I saw on PC where someone decapitated a child.. not really something you want to see.

I don't think it's a good idea.. Rockstar would get a massive lawsuit to the point their company would get shut down because over-protective mothers would complain.

 

There was going to be children in GTA 3 but they were cut (the building/hall next to the Callahan Bridge was originally going to be a school). there has only been 1 child in GTA and that was the baby in GTA Vice City Stories, that was only in cutscenes though

In GTA as it is now, I would have to say no.  The GTA mechanics and style wouldn't really be changed by kids, so why add them? I could somewhat see them in a game more like Red Dead Redemption where your character had morals and crimes carried over, so there were consequences for your actions in the long run; that being said, I will not be disappointed if children do not make an appearance in the next Red Dead.  

 

It might be cool if they were included in the GTA series in a limited style, similar to that of the Fallout series, but I do not think that children should just be roaming around the streets only to be run over. What I mean by this is characters in the story being children, mainly, your characters children.  That would add an interesting spin on the story.

Who is shrunk down to baby size, so technically its still a man..baby thing. Unfortunately you will probably have these man babies walk the streets by themselves..

 

Too bad you cant have them spawn with someone else. On a leash or something.. lol

Speaking of which, yesterday's in LA scared the shit out of me.

Honestly, no. Kids could been in some game like L.A Noire, but in GTA? Nope. You kill, robs and are driving from police in 110 Mph, so why make it worse by adding kids? I am sure that if it are kids in the game, rockstar will get their ass sued and banned to make games.
