what features do you want to see in gtav

Personally i've wanted more detailed cars. Or licensed cars to be in the game. Like Driver:SF. But GTA:V is its own world :)

What kinds of things were you guys looking forward to or wishing for this upcoming game?

  • I want to see LCPDFR in GTA V... !!! lols...

  • Having a properly optimized PC version is the main thing really.

id love air travel between San Andreas, Vice City and Liberty City, Rockstar need to make a GTA game which is bigger and more diverse (terrain wise) than San Andreas. Also having owning businesses (like Drug Running Operations in Vice City where you would go to a island, pick up a stash, take it back to your warehouse, evading enemies/cops, and then distributing it yourself, or having the ai worker do that for you) id also like tohave the guys behind LCPD:FR and Police Pursuit mod to be hired to work on the police side of the game ;)

It would be nice to see a big map like that. But it would take up a lot of space seeing as the graphics and 3d models will be a lot better. Possibly.

GTA4 in itself is more or less 16GB and even though it contains a smaller map than San Andreas it is a hell of a lot detailed and also some minute advancements as in cellphones, websites, better peds and police(in game) and if you want VC+SA+LC it will be like 4 DVDs...

LOLS :geek: ..!!!

So lets just hope that the GTA V is best optimized for PC too and released for PC quicker(I know it ain't gonna happen coz PS3 or Xbox versions will most probably released first) whatever be the map.

it would be worth it. I liked country roads in GTA SA and how it would take a few minutes to get from Grove Street to Fort Carson.

And I'm sure within a month or so GTA V will be released for the PC too like the others. I just wish that they would all come out at the same time.

lets also not forget one of the best 3+ CD games of all time ppl... FF7?! :P A 4CD GTA5 would be worth it to me ^_^

well, maybe not all 3, all 3 would be nice, but i think one thing GTA 4 lacked was diversity, GTA: SA had deserts, casinos, industrial areas, military bases etc. whereas GTA 4 was just a city, with varyin neighbourhoods, there were 3 cities in San Andreas, each with its own kinds of neighbourhoods, everywhere felt different (the different police departments, LSPD, SFPD and LVPD added to that feeling, rather than Alderney being made a different state, yet still LCPD patrol cars) so maybe not a new San Andreas map, but something as big and diverse, with as i said before, businesses, air travel, every vehicle was drivable (even trains) that sort of diversity, to be free to do as you wish, like SA was.

The main features I would like to see is;

  • More random occurances (police chases both on foot and in vehicle for example)
  • More Mini-games and after story activity (casinos, slot machines, card games, pizza delievery jobs, burgulary)
  • More hand to hand combat missions - less shoot 'em up missions - repeat assasination gets boring [/yawn]
  • More vehicles (oppurtunity for modifications and purchasing vehicles)
  • Ownership and real estate (being able to buy business, run them (or not) and houses)
  • More police car variation (Blista's for example being called out because they're patrol supervisor cars)
  • More clothes & clothing variation

By the way - I doubt (full size) SA will happen its too big in HD for the processors of the xbox and ps3 to handle - though a varying map with countryside, motorway, urban and suburban would be nice.

GTA 4 was just a city, with varyin neighbourhoods, there were 3 cities in San Andreas, each with its own kinds of neighbourhoods, everywhere felt different (the different police departments, LSPD, SFPD and LVPD added to that feeling, rather than Alderney being made a different state, yet still LCPD patrol cars)

I hate that too! So annoying! This made it not possible to have a New Jersey side with NJ Police Cars, and a New York side with NYPD. Or, could that be scripted? NOoSE Cruiser for example as police car for Alderney...? The rest only in the remaining cities?

If yes I would be very interested. ^^

+1. This is the one thing that annoyed me with GTA IV. It seems the developers got lazy after making all the high quality stuff and 3d modeling. I still play GTA SA for the reason that you just stated emptw1.

One nice thing is if they would have better emergency lighting (yes, I recognize it is not going to be much better after I saw the trailer). They should use something like Saint's Row 2 lighting instead.

I shold like if they do so its harder to get money and all things are more expensive so its not getting boring to have money later in game,or end.And it Shold be relly cool if the polices call in the army if you get too many stars and if you are wanted extremely long. And you have more wanted stars. You shold be able to hijack a plane, drive it.The polices shold have more advanced weapons or veincles and they shold be much more polices than in gta 4.When you get wanted, the police only trying to kill you when you take out an weapon, shooting hurting others etc,so they dont just kill you cuz you never stop running or you get more stars,if you get caught you shold be in prison for 1 day either you can skip time or watch when you are in prison, you shold be able to escape too/if you don't skipped the prison time,if you escape they shoot to kill. The paramedics shold use choppers to get to places that is hard to get to example: out on sea,on an island and more/like they land on the site one guy jump out and help the wounded then they fly away with the wounded/you shold be able to take the copper too,if you pointing a gun at a person you shold get some options like kill him/her or just capture the person, and much more things.....That shold be awesome...

Remember the limitations of current gen consoles.

Battlefield 3 shipped on two discs for xbox 360, one disc contains the singleplayer campaign, the other disc contains Multiplayer, CO-OP and HD Textures.

Forza 4 Shipped on two discs due to the sheer size of contents, amazing textures, tracks, cars etc.

Of course, if microsoft invested in bigger-spaced DVD's we wouldn't have this problem.

I for one find the disc swaping annoying if I just want to jump into singleplayer, grab a achievement then hop into multiplayer..

So 4CD's would force me to buy the PC Version, at least then it could run off my HDD from only one disc when all are installed. 4CD's on Xbox would be a trainwreck.
