  • Ah yes. As mentioned above, I've decided to abandon vpCallouts in pursuit of other scripts and challenges that I can take my time on and not completely kill like I did this one. In the future I may re

Hello, Great mod,

However.

Is there a way to force cancel a call out? or force a callout.

Also, what are you meant to do in each case? I.E welfare checks a woman was running across the highway.. I arrested and nothing happened.

Also, does this mod make civilian cars go faster and not obey? While we were parker we got rammed by atleast 5 different cars who were going at top speed

Cancelling a call is as simple as just hitting the onDuty key while you're not in the area- it doesn't spawn until the yellow blip disappears and the red one does. As for welfare checks.. they're meant to be checking on someone to make sure they're okay. If they're alive then you can go about your business, nothing is wrong just leave them be. If they're dead, then call an ambulance. And the script shouldn't be touching traffic at all.. not sure why you'd be having issues with it

Vocosol, I just wanted to say THANK YOU!

There are a lot of LCPDFR Clans/Communities that are under the impression every other clan is out to get them and they all compete with each other like they are enemies. They fight and bicker and never share ideas or..scripts. Its really sad, and ever since I started playing LCPDFR have tried to change that misconception, which has failed. I think all the clans should grow up and work together, like you have shown... Anyways...

For being an great developer and also releasing your script to the entire community (and not just keeping it for your clan.)

THANK YOU.

good day to you,i am not a computer wizzard so here is my question could the call be farther than they are now ?? and to edit if i can. for the rest i used it alot no chrashes and i simply adore it

thank's again for sharing and great work!!!!

Yeah, this looks like some nice work.  Well done.  Its nice to see someone else take up scripting and release something like this which everybody can appreciate.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

First, thank you very much for your work is very appreciated and I encourage you to keep upgrading it to LCPDFR badly needs more types of calls.

I tried the script and often scrip crash (vpCallouts.main ERROR) when I go to the event. I've been testing and I think it conflicts with some of the scripts of Abraxas (Towservice, K9 or METT)

Hey man, the mod is fantastic. I love that you can customize the text so that it's like your home department, and the basic patrol calls are phenomenal. I have a problem, almost every time I get on-scene to a call (any call) my game crashes. Anything I'm doing wrong? No error report or anything, just crashes to desktop.

Well now! I certainly didn't expect to find all this when I got home..

I've responded to 2 calls (broken down vehicle and suspicious person) who blew himself up which was hilarious! The game crashed as I arrived both times

Hm.. that's odd. Are you using the latest version of the scripthook? I'm not entirely sure what would cause it to crash to desktop as I've never actually encountered that myself.. I'll do some research and see if I can find out why but at the moment I'm not entirely sure how to fix the CTD if my script is causing it, I'm so sorry!

I also made a video using the script:

THis script is a-ma-zing !

Script error happened. I accepted a call but got distracted by a reckless driver, and after a short while, the script crashed.

                         at GTA.Script.DoTick()
                         at GTA.ScriptThread.OnTick()

Alright I finally got some error logs. This is what I got:

                         at GTA.ScriptThread.OnTick()

Great script! I also like how responsive you are to people having issues as well.

So anyways, I have gotten to use the script for the first time tonight and found that it was pretty good! The only downside is the stuff which is mentioned, which is the script randomly crashing in the game. The Crash I had involved me driving to a Welfare Check in Western Side of Bohan and I was code 2, while on the way, the script announced that it had crashed. The other scripts I use (ALPR, Fuel Gauge, LCPDFR, Speed Radar) seem to be fine though. Will have to check to see if there is a way to turn the script back on if it crashes without having to restart the game.

Will have to check to see if there is a way to turn the script back on if it crashes without having to restart the game.

Press ~ (the key above tab and next to 1) then type reloadscripts

You will have to go back on duty in LCPDFR, the easiest being to press ALT-P then CTRL-P
