Next Gen Police Cars in Pursuit

Featured Replies

I created this topic a while ago, but it died off due to lack of videos. However, being that most agencies are now slowly starting to replace the CVPI, there are bound to be new videos.

Disclaimer-This thread is for footage of police chases that contain one or more of the following vehicles:Ford Interceptor Utility, Ford Interceptor Sedan, 2011+ Dodge Charger or 2012+ Chevrolet Caprice PPV or discussion of those videos.

I wanna know if Leawood police finally got that driver :/

I saw it live. They got the passenger, but the driver escaped. Not sure if he was ever found to be honest, but his passenger probably flipped on him.

Wow, that's a lot of car chases....

Typical US media to have live feeds of car chases with useless commentary from reporters :wallbash::teehee:

Well, who's to say that the police aren't using that footage too?

I mean, why have a separate police helicopter actively following the suspect when the news can follow it for them? Win for the news, higher ratings, and win for the police, suspect caught.

My System:

Intel i7-2600k | ASUS P67 Sabertooth | NVIDIA GTX 560ti | Corsair 750W PSU | Corsair Vengeance 8GB | Lamptron Fan-Atic

Watch the video. :)

It seems you're the one who should watch the video because the video doesn't say that they ever got the driver. They only say that they caught the passenger.

I was just complaining about the worthless commentary... Not them flying over the car chase. If they could just shut up or let the pilot talk, that'd be great :teehee::thumbsup:

I love watching car chases on the news, I did it all the time in the Sates, just hope the news anchors could shut up or only talk when they knew something

I enjoy watching pursuits so much. lol. It seems to me that LA county has the most...every time I look up police pursuits, the first like 3 pages of YouTube is just LA County.

It makes me laugh how there are SO many units, yet here in the UK, there are about 5 vehicles to each pursuit.

America is much more of a police state. :)

Not only that, but there are several layers of police. City/Local, Sheriff (County), and State Police (State).

So you have all these agencies responding.
