What does your username mean, or do it have some cool backstory or special meaning? Your signature included!

I'll start.  I created a Youtube account a long time ago and I had a hard time coming up with a good name for my channel, but nevertheless I proceeded to the registration process. As luck would have it, the captcha was "ineseri". There you have it!

Officer Moody is a small reference to Californication, as the main characters last name is Moody.

  • These are some great stories everyone! Always fun to know the backstory for the people behind the greatest community on the internet!

My name means "the visual images and symbols used in a work of art or the study or interpretation of these."

I can't remember now where it came from, I believe I wanted an academic username and just happened to remember this word from my schoolwork.

My name came from something my friend said when We were playing "Hide & go seek" in the park at night. I hide right in the open of the park and had a phone out so I looked like I was someone else. They found me after passing by me a few times. and my friend said "I thought you were just some random". so I called myself "That-Random". because it fits me.

When I got Xbox live finally in late 2011, I wanted something military like since that was pretty much all I played. I had made the call sign years earlier for a short story I wrote in grade 6 (Got 98 on the project for it XD) and decided, "hey, why the hell not?" So, nearly 2 and a half years later, I remain BRAVO 9 ACTUAL or just "Bravo" to pretty much all of my friends. I have thought about changing the 9 to a 6 lately or just dropping the 9 altogether. Still thinking about that though.

Well....... It started back in around 2009 when I played Counter Strike Source very religiously. (let's not talk about my username prior to 2009) Anyway, I would play on this guys server which was all fun and shit. Eventually me and this guy became really cool friends. This guys name was 'hlstriker'. Well about a year passes of playing this server, me becoming a very important part of it, and helping to make it popular. Eventually this one night comes along when me and hlstriker are just chatting it up and I changed my name to 'hlsaving'. This was just a joke, something that would last maybe and hour or so tops. We continued talking and eventually got to playing where I realized 'hlsaving' doesn't really flow, so I changed it to 'hlsavior'. Well sure enough, after about an hour or so the name was removed, and I went back to my old alias. A couple weeks go by and I change my name to this 'hlsavior' thing every-now and then as a joke thing. Well I'm starting to grow to like this name. Sure enough, hlstriker is growing to dislike it. Well a time comes in the server when total anarchy breaks loose and since the owner, hlstriker, is never really in it i suggest creating a new admin. He goes "okay I'll look into it." Sure enough, my friend becomes admin, and not me. This kinda upset me. So me and hlstriker (we'll just call him striker for now) get into a tiny argument but eventually blow it off and continue. Well some more differences come along and shit goes down and I never visit his server again. I figure, you know what hlsavior is a pretty awesome name I'll keep it. So striker pretty much entirely goes down the shitty and even makes his steam profile pic be his erected penis. We argue a bit more, he becomes pretty childish, and has a couple hissy fits, and we stop talking. About a year ago I returned to that server and said these words:

"Yo, where's striker at?"

They tell me he doesn't want to talk.

"Whats wrong why doesn't he want to work things out? Is he too scared?"

They tell me he's coming.

"Hey dude let's talk like real men and work this."

I get permabanned.

The server is called Swoobles on Counter Strike Source and is minigames. Have fun.

So my friend that did get admin just sent me this:

Funny how eventually me and this guy co owned our own server. And believe me, we were not immature. He probably thought I was immature because I was like 11 or 12 at the time or something.

My last name is "Peavey," pronounced like the letter "P" and the letter "V," hence the "pv" part of my username. A while ago, back when Deal or No Deal was a thing that people watched, I randomly chose case number 23 as the one I thought would have the $1 million in it. It didn't, but for some reason I stuck with the number 23. My first name is William (Will). I like the way it looks better with lowercase letters as a username, so I made it willpv23, but in my picture the "P" is capitalized so it lines up across the bottom.

"Work and ideas get stolen, then you keep moving on doing your thing."

Well, br is my initials, and originally I went to create an email address, but br100 was taken, so instead of making a random number, I thought putting an x on the end made it look nicer and sounded cool (this was years and years ago). I've stuck with the username because nobody else has it, so I can use it for pretty much everything from here, to my email. to xbox live, etc.

My name.

And the ◢ ◤'s in my signature is Avicii's logo, if you do not know who he is, well, you haven't heard any music until you hear Avicii.

My internet alias has been Reboot23 for 10 years, and I guarantee you, that name is affiliated with well over 300+ websites that I have created accounts on. Long story short, I rebooted my dad's friends computer when he was creating a logo for their new company, without saving, and my birthday is the 23rd.

Master Yoda came along aobut a week ago, when I though it would sound a bit wiser, and more respectable.

I came up with my username a few years back, I'm terrible of thinking up names, so it literally took me about 2 hours to come up with it. I think my name had something to do with my TV being branded under "Sharp" or something along those lines. As for the meaning, there isn't one.

My little brother and I used to always watch Minecraft videos. When I finally bought an account we threw some words together and came up with CraftieGamer.

Anyways, my old username was Beckugan1, relating to my name as well as a 1 because what's a username without a 1? I think it was created when I was doing a project in like 4th grade but who knows.

Then I decided to change my name, and remembered Pengi from my good old Club Penguin days...Ah the good days.

Anyways, with my present intelligence level, I went to urban dictionary and searched pengi. Definitely was not what I knew back when I was like 6 or whenever the hell club penguin was the shit where I live.

Hoffers just came to me when I was thinking of a username on a site for Arma 2 back in '11, I then later added Sgt at the start for my interest in Law enforcement, and my current goal inside of the AAFC (Australian Air Force Cadets) to achieve such a memorable rank.

Also, my RP server (SAMP) user name is Harper Goldstein ;3

Back in the days, when I didn't knew english very well, I had to make an account for one game (don't remember which one). I thought Yard sounds cool, and then I added 1 for extra coolness, and also because my name is Anthony and A is the first number of the alphabet. :)

After sometime it turned out that yard is a unit of length and, well, yard.

I also have a second nick, but I don't use it anymore.
