br100x reacted to Iconography in Installed RAM Suddenly Decreased?If you're going to give him advice, at least make sure it's accurate. Windows 8 has no such problem with memory. This is coming from someone who uses Windows 8 as the daily driver, with 16GB of fully functioning RAM. It's quite sad how many lies are spread about Windows 8 (though I'm sure you thought you were helping and telling the truth).
Windows 8 is not the issue here. Your RAM sticks are very likely the issue - they probably aren't seated properly. The only fix is to re-install them and ensure they're firmly secured inside the motherboard. If that is done, and they aren't working correctly, one or more of your RAM sticks is defective.

so go into the peds.ide in the common/data in your gta and replace the fat cops line with this: Replacing M_M_FatCop_01: M_M_FatCop_01, null, COP, move_cop, GESTURES@FEMALE, GESTURES@F_PHONE, FACIALS@F_LO, visemes@f_lo, 0, move_cop, null, -1,-1, PED_TYPE_PLAYER, VOICE_PLY_CR, VOICE_PLY_CR idk how to mess with the other ped files

br100x reacted to 42069 in New GTA V map being made for GTA IV (alpha released)The other topic got closed, so I decided to create a new one, NTA has started a GTA V map and has recently released a pre alpha version, I am sure LCPDFR.com has similar rules as GTA Forums, so I am not going to link it on this site, here is what NTA said:
"the alpha has kind of been released even though a 'large' amount of people are having random crash issues which aren't reproducible right now, but most of the time if it loads it works
get it from the known places, don't ask, don't tell, just get it"
But there have been hints on the thread (PM me for a direct link if you can't find it) : http://gtaforums.com/topic/697393-iv-viiv-levelsgta5-for-gtany/ (it's a few pages ahead) and I guess further progress can be followed there.
This will go great with the GTA V cop peds pack.
NOTE: This is a pre alpha version; meaning that there will be tons of bugs!

br100x reacted to 42069 in GTA V map being made for IV.Hi, sorry for the bump, I just want to give a status update on this mod, I have spoken to the developers and it has been confirmed that the mod is now officially dead (shader issues and LOD issues). But NTAuthority has converted most of the map by himself (as far as I know) and the other mod had 25% of that. This is what one of the developers from "GTA IV Los Santos" said:
