Yes they did DDoS LCPDFR many times and their teamspeak servers many times also. They tried and tried but never succeeded to be better than LCPDFR and that's why they don't like them.

LCPDFR is the main reason I get so interested in cop cars. Definitely can't wait for LCPDFR 1.0 :D

We have no strong evidence of this, and we've never said formally they've been involved.

Our enemies list is very short though, and people can make their own assumptions.

 

We haven't actually been attacked successfully in a long time, although people try every few days without much success.

Like Jay said, LCPD:FR hasn't successfully been taken down in a while, so it doesn't really matter who the attackers are, because they're failing.

My threshold of being impressed has surely been passed with that first post!  LCPDFR was the first mod I ever installed; hell, it was the primary reason that I got into PC gaming in the first place at all.  Thanks to it, I'm playing off of my custom rig that I put together, and have realized how much modding can breathe new life into a game.  Long live LCPDFR, I can't wait to install 1.0 when it hits the site, and kudos to you all!

God bless you guys. You continue to put in hard work and time into modding this game. I know sometimes it may feel like it's not worth it, but I'm a witness that it is worth it. I wouldn't say my life has changed, but this community has had a big impact on further pursing my dream of one day becoming a peace officer. And this mod has helped me get the feel of what it'll be like (Maybe the game is more realistic than the actual thing) I don't want to talk to much. Once again, continue doing what you guys are doing. You're amazing, I love you guys and everyone on here. Back to LCPDFR :D

Ever since I saw gta iv lcpdfr videos, I knew I needed it. I went thru 4 computers (2 laptops,2 towers) but my last pc was the one I needed for gta 4, and hopefully gta 5.

"Now, this could take another month or two, although the great news is that we are making very good progress as the weeks go by.  LCPDFR 1.0 now contains a lot of stuff that we're all very proud of and it will be released in some form or another later on this year." 

 

It's not going to be the same week as GTA V, later this year. 1.0 wouldn't get as much attention if it came out the same week as GTA V. Some people here would be playing GTA V.

As a former reserve deputy and police officer, I myself am extremely interested in watching this new version of the mod reach fruition, I know it has probably been asked a thousand times here, but is there a release date set yet?  The only reason I'm even asking is, I recently bought a new rig, GTA IV runs exceptionally well on it and I'm already itching to use the LCPDFR mod, but I don't want to go through the hassle of installing the older version if the newer is going to be out within days or a week or two. (chuckle)

We can always hope, but the release date as of now is "When it's done". I hope the devs take their time and polish it so we all can have a awesome experience with it. Early releases has been proven not to work. The beta build causes crashes etc. Just hang tight and before you know it, it will be here.
