I'm using Game4videos ENB and with ELS V6 my lights looked great.

Buth now with ELS V7 my lights look like sh*t.

Any one a answer?

 

I still can't figure out the reflection for the Red & Blue I am working hard on it though !!

Are there any solutions to the problem of the game crashing on start up?

Sure thing, all I did was go into the default_config that was included with the mod.  I did it like this

 

 

[ ENV_LIGHT_COLORS ]

Extra_1 = red

Extra_2 = blue

Extra_3 = red

Extra_4 = blue

Extra_5 = white

Extra_6 = white

Extra_7 = amber

Extra_8 = amber

Extra_9 = amber

PROBLEM FIXED.

 

 

Incase anyone else is wondering,   installing ELS 7 will overwrite your visualSettings.dat

 

If you are using game4video enb,   you can either reinstall or specifically find the visualSettings.dat that comes with game4video and simply copy it back to the proper GTA4 folder.

HOLY CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP! ELS V7! WOOOO!

 

Well that sucks, ELS doesn't want to seem to work for me, i'll have to go back to v5 :/

 

Now even v5 won't work, lights won't come on, neither will info panel, it's like ELS isn't even installed!

It's wired how you use the sirren, why didn't you just put it like els v6??:D

This is by far the greatest and most realistic emergency lighting system anyone has ever created for a game. The sheer amount of details and options is astonishing. I'll be sure to test it out properly once I get through the PDF and understand everything there is to know. Massive thanks to Lt. Caine, Sam, LMS and the testers. Without you guys, the entire GTA IV police community wouldn't be where it is now.

Read the guide. It's as easy as in ELSv6, if you've read it.

Tested a few hours ago, and approved.

Great work and surely the best ELS release.

Could anyone confirm if ELS v7 is working with Windows XP please? I've read through the entire PDF all morning and set up everything in the .ini file. However, when ingame, the lights light up but I do not get any response from any ELS key whatsoever (including Ctrl+M). Before anyone asks, I already tried replacing my scripthook and ASI loader with the one provided and it didn't help. Seems like a few other users have been reporting this as well.
