The Boston and Watertown bombings and shootings

Multiple news sources saying he's in custody, radio traffic says he's in custody too.  If they have him alive, this is a job well done.

They do have him alive, as he was placed into a car and driven away. As well he has "unspecified medical needs".

im glad they caught him alive that is the right thing to do instead of just shooting him but I don't agree with the martial law they implemented in boston that's NOT America and its illegal to go door to door and coming into homes without a warrant regardless of the situation...maybe if they didn't have gun control they wouldn't of had to have martial law...very scary whats happening

Martial Law was not implemented in Boston. People stayed indoors, not because they were forced to, but because they were told that is was extremely dangerous to go outside. I can't really comment on the home searches, or the ID checks of random people on the street.

I can say though, it wasn't martial law.

False. The Fourth Amendment has several exceptions, including consent, plain view, exigent circumstances, border searches, vehicle searches, and searches incident to arrest. Consent, plain view, and exigent circumstances all CAN apply to houses (border searches, not so much, for obvious reasons), and exigent circumstances applies in this case (an at-loose armed and dangerous suspect is an exigent circumstance).

Anyone listening to the stream when it happened; it was beautiful. Everyone was thanking each other and damn it was just so sick. Made me wanna be a cop.

NBC:  POTUS to address the nation shortly.

NBC:  Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis - Suspect in serious condition at the hospital.

So your saying, you would tell Federal and Local Law Enforcement to come back with a warrant when they are searching for a terrorist? You sir, are arrogant and ignorant.

NBC:  A resident checking on his boat found blood, lifted the tarp and found the suspect.  Resident retreated into his house and called 911.
