"A campus police officer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology outside Boston was shot Thursday night, a Cambridge, Mass., officer said.

MIT campus police referred a caller to the campus news bureau, where no one answered calls.

The school posted a statement on its website saying only that there had been gunshots heard near the Stata building on campus. It said the area was cordoned off by police and urged students to stay away from the area.

"At 10:48 PM today gunshots were reported near Building 32 (Stata) which is currently surrounded by responding agencies. The area is cordoned off. Please stay clear of area until further notice. Unknown if injuries have occurred.. Although the situation is considered active and extremely dangerous, an investigation is underway. Updates will be provided at this site when more information becomes available."

Even though Waco and this weren't terrorist attacks [not sure about this one yet] it starting to seem like Americas just under attack from the Universe. Monday 3 die and hundreds injured in Boston. Yesterday 60+ die in a massive explosion and hundreds wounded/homeless. Today a cop is shot and killed in a school campus. Universe you really starting to piss me off. Might need to declare war.

Just heard on the *news* (news-most likely not accurate) that "officials have confirmed the suspects have taken an MSP cruiser" and "the police officer was possibly gunned down with his own weapon"

 

 

they then showed an overhead pic of where the cop was shot--blood and shit everywhere--pisses me off. Like really do you think his family would want to see that?

Rumors are that the suspects are 2 Middle Eastern Males, a lot like the ones in the photos from the bombing.
